TLC 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days spoilers tease that Avery Warner got a huge shock when she attended Ash Naeck’s relationship coaching seminar. As viewers will remember, Avery wanted to attend the seminar because she was worried about the nature of Ash’s relationships with his clients. Avery had discovered a lot of text messages on Ash’s phone from some of the women whom he’d coached, and she wanted to see first-hand how he interacted with the single women who attend his seminars.
So really, Avery went into the seminar thinking that she’d scope out the way that Ash related to the single women, and with the fear that she could see him being too flirty with the ladies – something that would have totally turned Avery off to continuing a relationship with Ash. Well, as it turned out, Avery really had nothing to worry about on that front!
Ash didn’t at all show any hint of being flirty or attracted to the single women who attended this seminar, nor did they show any inkling of being attracted to him. In fact, the ladies seemed rather…well…disgusted by Ash. The seminar, which was supposed to help single women as they looked for a male partner, ended up being a complete disaster all the way around.
Really, the problems started the moment Ash began talking. Ash came across to the woman at the seminar as patronizing, and as if he was saying that it was all THEIR responsibility to understand the man in the relationship and to give him everything he needs. It was really uncomfortable to watch the seminar unfold, and the women in attendance were not amused.
At one point, Ash got completely defensive and tongue-tied when one of the women in the audience started challenging his perspective. Ash then went and checked his phone and subsequently walked out of the seminar, saying he just needed a moment. It was a major choke moment, but to his credit, Ash regrouped and started the seminar again.
But things really didn’t get better from there, and Ash found himself being challenged again by members of the audience. Ash got combative and argued, and Avery took it all in. In a strange turn of events, Avery went in an instant from worried about Ash flirting with the women in the audience to wondering about his actual beliefs about gender roles.
One wonders if Ash and Avery’s relationship is going to be able to survive after Avery heard the things that came out of Ash’s mouth at the seminar. All his talk about the “male brain” and “female brain” sounded pretty demeaning to Avery, and she feels like she now needs to find out if Ash really believes all those things he said about men and women.
It certainly looks like some more uncomfortable moments are coming up for Ash and Avery, as Avery tries to get to the bottom of what Ash really believes about her and every other woman on the planet.
