Trent takes on the project but realizes he may have bitten off more than he can chew; the family gives Anna a test run as a substitute teacher.”

In tonight’s episode the family heads to the park to play disc golf. After picking their colors and playing, they start to argue about the rules. The kids are annoyed Trent thinks it is the same as golf. After they read the rules and get it together, they play more before heading to a near by picnic table to eat.
They start talking about building their own pavilion. Amber thinks they need professional help building. Amber jokes that they can all marry in the pavilion. Trent points out that it should be a challenge since they couldn’t even play disc golf.
Later, they head outside to start the building process. The family gets into several debates especial Trent and Amber. They look back at all of their building arguments with a laugh. As they continue to go back and forth, the kids leave and head back to the house.
The next day, Amber and Trent dress up for Kenny Rodgers and dolly Parton for a TikTok video. They have really been into TikTok since the pandemic. They switch alphabets after and sing songs for the video. They want it to go viral. Trent wear fake boobs and twerks. They all laugh.
The family starts on the pavilion. They rent an auger. Liz thinks the whole thing is unsafe. They get to work. Anna knows they will need to dig for hours.
Amber has set up a mock classroom for Anna so she can get practice before she becomes a substitute teacher. The whole family acts like students. Amber and Trent really enjoy giving her a hard time. Amber begs to go to the bathroom. Trent throws things from the back.
The next day, they get back to work on the pavilion. Amber wants to get it done for thanksgiving. They struggle to get a very heavy beam up the ladders between Jonah and Trent. Amber freaks out. They cannot do this. Trent is determined. After several tries, they get it done.
Emma and Amber help Anna find clothes for her substitute teaching job. They get to talk about how to deal with the kids. Amber thinks it will be surreal if she sees Anna at her school. But she is excited that they have found a connection after some tough years.
They get back to building the pavilion. While on top of the ladder, a piece of wood falls on Amber’s arms. She is so annoyed. They all think this is too much. After this project they are done.
Days later, Trent rents a scissor lift. They struggle but make progress. Amber arrives and sees some of the beams appear uneven. She is right. They need it fix it. They stress over whether they can finish in time for the holidays.
