Tonight’s Big Sky episode begins with Mark approaching Wolf’s barn and he has his gun raised. Wolf comes in and says he was being cordial before but this is trespassing. He asks what he can do to appease him. Wolf asks what he keeps behind a locked door, Wolf says he has nothing to hide, he opens it and tells him to have a look. Mark goes inside and Wolf locks him in. Wolf yells at him to open up or he will start shooting. Wolf opens the door and says he has a right to protect his property any way he has to because Mark doesn’t have a warrant.
Meanwhile, Ronald and Scarlet are in the house with Wolf’s wife, Agatha. Ronald sees Mark and is about to scream, Agatha zaps him and he falls down. Scarlett calls her a bitch and runs towards her, but Agatha wacks her with a log of wood. Ronald is not breathing, but after a few chest compressions he comes back. Wolf opens the door and is surprised to see what is going on. Wolf and Ronald start wrestling on the floor, Agatha finds the remote and zaps Ronald again, he tells his wife to stop. Then Wolf tells Ronald next time he won’t stop his wife.
Jenny tells Cassie that Travis was taken by Dietrich and she couldn’t do anything about it. They head to the bar and find a box with rope tied around it, Cassie unties it, there is blood on the box and it is written on it, “to: the liar.” Jenny approaches the box, looks inside and is relieved to see that it is not Travis’ severed hand inside, it belongs to Smiley, the guy Jenny beat up the night before. There is a bag of drugs in his hand, it is message from Dietrich or the cartel.
Tonya is working to gain Donno’s trust by helping him dispose of a body. Meanwhile, Travis is with Dietrich in his truck, Dietrich says Smiley was supposed to meet them and he is annoyed; they head to Smiley’s.
T-Loc goes to Smiley’s place, opens the door and slips on blood, Dietrich and Travis are outside, they just arrived. Dietrich and Travis go inside and see all the blood, T-Loc is hiding in the shower. Dietrich turns the gun on Travis and asks what he did, he says he did nothing. They hear a noise and together go to see who made it.
Max finds that her friends are trying to save the man who saved their lives, she would prefer if they take him to the hospital, but the man says no.
T-Loc is on the run outside, Dietrich and Travis are still looking for him. T-Loc manages to get to his card and speed off, but they quickly follow him.
Ren is outside taking in the sun, Tonya goes out there to speak to her. Tonya says she found something that she would be interested in, land, it’s finite and she thinks she should invest in some. Donno comes out and tells Ren he needs to speak to her, Ren tells Tonya to go, but good job. Donno tells her that he tracked the number, the last one Harvey called, it is registered to Chuck Ryan, a lawyer.
Madison goes to stop by Pete’s house, she tells him that she needs his help, medical in nature and she needs it to be a secret.
Scarlet catches Ronald trying to get out of his box, she tells him that he shouldn’t be trying to get out, they have to think about her daughter. He asks her where she is, she says on the other side of the ranch, she is happy and eats ice cream. He tells her it is not true, if she was there they would have let them see her by now.
Mark goes to the office, he tells Cassie that he tracked down Wolf Legarski, there is something off about him, but nothing concrete. He says he knows she said to keep her out of this, he is sorry.
T-Loc arrives home, he grabs clothes and starts to pack a bag, he runs down the stairs to leave and both Dietrich and Travis arrive and whack him on the head.
The teens figure out that the man who saved them is Seth’s dad, the kid who drowned at the lake. That is why he was following them, trying to be their protector, he couldn’t save his son. All of a sudden, Madison’s parents arrive home. Max and Bridger head upstairs and say they are there studying. Meanwhile, Madison is trying to get the supplies from Pete.
Dietrich gives T-Loc a few kicks and asks him if he killed his nephew. T-Loc says he is nobody. Dietrich gets a call and has to leave, cops are at the bar. He tells Trevor to take over, gives him a gun.
Cassie is with her dad a the ranch, with her son, taking another look around. She tells her dad that she hasn’t seen her son this happy in a long time. Tonya arrives at the ranch, she says she is there on behalf of her new boss, when Cassie asks who she works for, Tonya says her boss values her privacy.
Dietrich is in the bar, Jenny is there and asks him what happened to Smiley, Dietrich says he is his nephew and he is a good kid. Jenny shows him photos of the arm, the drugs and says who knows where they dumped the rest of the body. He tells her that if wants more info she should go see Ren, she is who the cartel sent.
Wolf gets a call, he has to go out of town for his new book. Agnes is not happy, she says Scarlet showed her new teeth and she is worried. Scarlet walks in and asks her where her daughter is. Wolf says Phoebe is an important part of her healing. Agnes says Phoebe is with her sister, in a nice place near the river and totally safe. Agnes shows her a photo. Wolf says that after last night, she has lost the right to see her daughter. Wolf turns around to speak to Agnes and Scarlet grabs the keys off a table.
Madison has returns with the medical supplies. Elsewhere, Jenny goes to see Ren, Poppernak is with her. Ren answers the door and laughs when Jenny says she heard that she works for the cartel. Ren says she is in the real estate business. Jenny tells her about the severed hand. Ren maintains that she is in the real estate business and will let her know if she branches out to mutilations. Tonya opens the door, Ren says she works for her.
Wolf gets in the truck and leaves, Agnes goes back in the house. Scarlet takes a shovel and breaks the lock to the box that Ronald is in and when he comes out, she shows him the keys and unlocks the device around his neck. She tells him that he has to get off the ranch, but she won’t go with him until she has Phoebe. She asks him if he trusts her and he says he had his doubts, she slaps him across the face. Then, he says he is going to go get Phoebe and she smiles.
Donno is cooking, Tonya asks him if he likes killing. He says he is good at it. She asks if she will have to kill people working for Ren, he says she should have asked that before. The doorbell rings, its Ren’s brother Jag with his henchman who knocks Dunno in the head and Jag demands to know where his sister is.
Travis calls Jenny, he tells her that he is ok, but no matter what happens; then the line goes dead. Travis brings T-Lock to door to a whole in the ground and makes him open it, then points the gun at his head.
Mark returns to the office, he tells Cassie that he saw that her car was still there. He says he has been thinking about them, sometimes in their field wires get crossed, she pulls him towards her and kisses him, and says he talks too much.
Ronald is free, we see him running down the road.
