Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that A Very Salem Christmas preview features John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Kristen DiMera (Eileen Davidson) happy in love while Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) is poised for a hot affair. It looks like Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) will also offer a fun spin on Scrooge in this alternate reality version of Salem, so let’s talk about how all this will play out.
If you haven’t heard by now, Days is releasing this new holiday flick on Peacock. You can stream Days of Our Lives: A Very Salem Christmas starting December 16, but you should expect the unexpected if you tune in!
Will Horton (Chandler Massey) will be up against a deadline as he scrambles to write a Christmas-themed screenplay, but he’ll get some good advice from Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) along the way.
Days spoilers say Will’s going to reimagine Salem with new couples and scenarios that’ll create some hilarious drama this holiday season.
The new preview shows John and Kristen in matching Christmas sweaters as they apparently run a bed and breakfast together.
Kristen also declares “Merry freakin’ Christmas” after what appears to be a passionate encounter in the bedroom, so it sounds like she’ll be living the dream with John in this fantasy world!
In addition to Eileen Davidson’s return as Kristen DiMera, Blake Berris will reprise his role as Nick Fallon. That’ll lead to some interesting dilemmas for Gabi who may find herself trying to cover up an affair.
There are several scenes in the preview where Gabi and Nick seem close, so he won’t be a sinister villain like he was back at Halloween.
This will be more of a Saint Nick situation – and we know from other Days spoilers that Nick will even don a Santa suit at one point.
However, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) can also be seen in a rather tacky shirt acting like a bit of a sleazeball.
Gabi seems surprised to see Brady as she hugs him, so maybe Brady will be her good-for-nothing husband or boyfriend while Nick serves as the nice guy who tempts her at work.
It’s also possible Gabi will cheat on Nick with sleazy Brady, but the point is a betrayal seems to be brewing. Gabi will land in a mess due to her multiple men, so it’ll be interesting to see what Will dreams up for his script.
Paulina can also be seen sporting a gray streak in her hair as she lets out a hearty laugh.
We all know how Paulina loves to make money, so we could see a Scrooge-ish kind of thing happening where Paulina’s all about making this holiday profitable rather than letting families celebrate.
Greg Rikaart will also be back as Leo Stark, who’ll be quite interested in a nerdy version of Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer).
This Christmas movie will also have Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) as a couple raising Sydney Dimera, so that’ll bring awkwardness with Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) when they all come home for the holidays.
Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) and Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) even share a kiss in the promo, so it’s clear that this version of Salem will be turned upside down!
