Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Alison Sweeney (Sami Brady DiMera) will exit DOOL, so we’ll see Sami’s final airdate for now. Of course, we should also talk about what’s next for the soon-to-be kidnapped character. Sami will get abducted on August 11, which marks the end of her current run according to SOD.
We should also note that Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) will crave revenge on Sami immediately before this abduction goes down.
It’d be weird to set up a new Ava revenge story only to drop it with Sami’s kidnapping. That suggests Ava will be the one behind Sami’s snatching and that’s how she’ll go about getting her vengeance.
As for why Ava will want revenge, the answer is simple: Sami’s plot to ruin Nicole Brady’s (Arianne Zucker) marriage has made Nicole a single woman and is about to push her in Rafe Hernandez’s (Galen Gering) direction.
Ava won’t be pleased about Sami’s handiwork and seems poised to make her pay as a result.
Of course, there’s always the possibility that Days will shift gears and go for another kidnapping explanation if they come up with a different story to tell.
Regardless, this won’t be the last we see of Sami. The nature of this exit means there’ll have to be some sort of resolution – and viewers will indeed get that resolution down the road.
Alison Sweeney had to depart for other projects, but she’s already been back at Days since filming her exit.
Sweeney has plenty of new scenes coming up that’ll explain things and will lead to Sami eventually getting out of her upcoming captivity jam.
In other words, Sweeney wrapped one stint and began another before her departure even aired.
Sami’s kidnapping exit is merely a goodbye for now, so don’t worry if you’re a Sami fan looking for answers about the abduction crisis that’s on the way.
