Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) may surrender to her true feelings for Chanel Dupree (Precious Way) and end up cheating on Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams). Let’s consider what we know so far.
Chanel took a chance as she got caught up in a warm moment with Allie, which led to a surprising kiss between them. It clearly caught Allie off guard, so she was quick to dismiss the possibility of anything happening romantically with Chanel.
There’s no doubt that Allie is interested in Tripp, but she may be more into Chanel than she realizes!
Chanel doesn’t get into labels and is quite comfortable with the idea of dating girls. It’s different for Allie, who doesn’t have experience kissing women or doing anything that’s more than friendly.
It’s only natural that Allie would be overwhelmed and try to shut it all down – even if she did it in the nicest way possible.
However, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Allie may have been somewhat in denial according to the latest summer preview info. It looks like Allie brushed off the idea of a romance with Chanel without giving it the proper consideration.
As a result, things are going to get interesting once Allie and Chanel go into business together. These DOOL besties will be closer than ever – and Tripp will certainly notice.
He’ll do his best to accept Allie’s explanation and trust that she’s only looking for friendship from Chanel, but he’ll have to wonder if more is going on.
Allie hasn’t made her relationship with Tripp official yet, but that could be coming up down the road. Tripp is beyond smitten and would love nothing more than for Allie to be his girlfriend.
The problem is Chanel wants the same thing – and Allie’s going to be a mess of confused feelings. That could spell trouble for Tripp since Allie and Chanel will be spending so much time together.
Will Allie wind up cheating on Tripp once they’re officially dating? Even if they haven’t clarified their relationship status by then, Tripp would still view it as a betrayal after the way Allie dismissed Chanel as a friend and nothing more.
Nevertheless, Chanel isn’t sure she’ll ever find the same connection she has with Allie with anyone else. Based on all the new Days spoilers, Allie may surrender to her feelings and accept that she’d be open to more than friendship with Chanel.
That doesn’t necessarily mean Allie will choose Chanel over Tripp, but it does mean the situation will get complicated!
