Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) obsession could return after her Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) romantic disaster. Will Ava decide that no man compares to “Patch” in the aftermath of her upcoming split?
Ava was finally able to break free from her Steve fixation, but that’s only because she found Rafe as a steady path forward.
Rafe was initially good for Ava and provided some real stability, but his interest in Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) soon became a problem.
That problem got even bigger when Rafe cheated with Nicole, and things aren’t much better now that he’s keeping a secret that’s destined to explode.
Ava is bound to go off the rails when she realizes Rafe betrayed her. That’s especially true if Rafe admits he wants to be with Nicole instead – and that admission could be coming sooner rather than later.
Days spoilers say Ava will make a confession of her own during the week of November 22-26.
There’ll be some big declaration on Ava’s part, so it sounds like she’ll pour her heart out to Rafe and profess her love. Of course, Ava will no doubt hope Rafe feels the same and can offer a similar heartfelt response.
Ava will probably be disappointed when Rafe doesn’t reciprocate her love declaration, but he may add to the devastation if he uses this opportunity to come clean about sleeping with Nicole.
Regardless, Days spoilers say Ava will find out about Rafe and Nicole’s steamy night together eventually.
Once that happens, Ava could easily revert to her old dangerous tendencies – particularly since we’ve already been seeing those creeping back in through all the mob drama. Ava may continue that negative pattern by reverting to her old obsessive tendencies, too.
This seems like the perfect chance to kick off a new story involving Steve and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans).
Ava may decide her biggest mistake was believing that Rafe or anyone else could compare to her beloved “Patch.”
Perhaps Ava will start plotting to win Steve over, which would pull Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) into the mess as well. There’d be some great places to go with a storyline like that, so we’ll see if that’s what DOOL writers have in mind.
