Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that some recent scenes brought up an important question: Will Belle Brady (Martha Madison) and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) make a sizzling new match? There’s a chance Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) will get betrayed while Sami Brady DiMera’s (Alison Sweeney) sister rivalry gets even worse.
Belle’s glad that EJ’s fully recovered and can get back to business as usual. Although they didn’t cross any lines in their July 22 office scenes, there was still a nice vibe going on.
You could argue that EJ and Belle’s time together almost felt like a chemistry test – just in case Days decided to make EJ and Belle a couple someday.
Of course, Belle is happily married to Shawn right now, but this is a soap where problems can arise at any moment.
We also know Belle has cheated on Shawn before, so that’s something to keep in mind. It’s possible Belle will break her marriage vows with EJ this time around.
Belle and EJ worked well together during the DiMera Enterprises crisis – that is until the topic of Sami brought tension.
Although Belle was adamant about Sami being “the same conniving bitch” she always was, EJ stepped up to defend his wife and felt they should just get back to work in the end.
However, that was before EJ read Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) letter and found out for himself the kind of woman Sami is.
EJ’s no doubt thinking Belle was right! He’s bound to turn his back on Sami and could perhaps decide to get a divorce.
Sami cheated on EJ and lied repeatedly, so EJ may feel like there’s just nothing left for him in this marriage.
If EJ were to land in Belle’s bed next, Sami would hate her sister’s guts for it! It might be fun to see Sami and Belle’s sibling rivalry intensify and turn this into a full-blown family feud.
Naturally, it’d be a shame to see a strong DOOL couple like Shawn and Belle torn apart, but that’s just how it goes sometimes.
Soaps are all about drama, so Days might want the drama of Sami’s sister making her move. Sami would be furious if Belle and EJ wound up sizzling together, so that alone seems like a good reason to consider the option.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say EJ should indeed move on with someone in the months ahead, so stay tuned to see if it’ll be Belle or somebody else.
