Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will mull over his options following Ciara Brady Weston’s (Victoria Konefal) failed hypnosis. DOOL fans know Ben’s growing increasingly desperate and just wants Ciara to remember how connected they used to be.
Ben feels Ciara still loves him in her heart, even if she can’t love him with her head right now. It’s just a matter of getting those two parts of Ciara to line up again. Of course, Ciara needs her memories back if that’s going to happen.
Since hypnosis didn’t work, Ben will revisit another idea – one that could prove quite risky and go against Ben’s promise to never hurt Ciara. Days viewers know Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) first suggested the idea of using Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (William Utay) memory serum.
Ben initially shut it down since Dr. Rolf’s such a mad scientist and they can’t predict how Ciara will react to the drug.
However, Ben later brought up the idea to Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) anyway. Marlena had a similar reaction to the one Ben first had and ran down the list of problems.
This drug isn’t FDA approved and is something that was created as an antidote to a different drug. Marlena felt it was dangerous and didn’t couldn’t get behind using anything developed by twisted Dr. Rolf.
Besides, Ciara is missing memories due to brain trauma, so this is a different situation compared to the other Salemites who have come back from the dead. There’s no guarantee Ciara’s mind will respond in the same way.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say the show’s offered plenty of reasons to be concerned about Ciara taking this drug. In fact, Ben himself decided he couldn’t go through with it since he couldn’t do anything that might harm Ciara.
The fact that Ben would never hurt his wife has been a repeated theme since Ciara woke up.
Nevertheless, Ben will apparently lose sight of that or at least decide the risk’s worth it. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ben will prepare to give Ciara a memory-enhancing drug during the week of April 12-15. DOOL fans can expect Ben to try anyway!
Whether this is the same Dr. Rolf drug or not, it could bring a troubling outcome. If Ben succeeds and Ciara faces terrible side effects, he might never forgive himself.
Naturally, it’s also possible Ben will come to his senses or be stopped by someone beforehand. The fact that Ben will “try” to give Ciara this drug could point to him not being able to give it to her in the end.
Regardless, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ben’s desperate move may force him to reevaluate things and realize he’s gone too far. Likewise, it could leave Ciara worried about Ben’s mental state and even more drawn to Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson)!
