Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that a new Beyond Salem preview is out, which features Sonny Kiriakis (Zachary Atticus Tinker) punching Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) along with Kristen DiMera’s (Eileen Davidson) Sister Mary Moira trick and Shane Donovan’s (Charles Shaughnessy) return.
The promo is for Peacock’s exciting limited series, which will be delivered in daily instalments starting Monday, September 6. You can catch a new episode each day leading up to the epic finale of the five-part event on Friday, September 10.
As the preview video explains, the story centers around the Alamainian Peacock that was stolen in 1991.
The gems from this piece have fallen into the wrong hands, so the ISA will be on a mission to make sure they fall back into the right ones before it’s too late!
Charles Shaughnessy will reprise his role as Shane Donovan, who’ll pay John Black (Drake Hogestyn) a visit to explain a special assignment.
With Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) by his side, John will get updates on the stolen jewels – though he’ll suspect Shane isn’t offering the whole story.
It turns out there’ll be grave danger surrounding the gems and the desperate things DOOL’s baddies will do to acquire them.
We’ll see several hot plots link together, but they’ll be set in a variety of locations across the globe.
Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) will take Abe Carver (James Reynolds), Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) on a sunny vacation in Miami.
Unfortunately, the crew’s meal together will take a perilous turn when some thugs show up with guns.
It looks like Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) may have her eye on these stolen gems, especially if there’s some sort of reward involved.
Anna and Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) will become part of Carrie Brady-Reed (Christie Clark) and Austin Reed’s (Austin Peck story), which will involve a marriage on the rocks in Zurich.
Based on the promo, it seems Austin will try to smooth things over with a gorgeous necklace as a gift.
Carrie will declare it the most beautiful thing she’s ever seen, but she may not realize the danger that comes with it if it’s connected to this jewelry heist situation.
We’ll also see Leo cause drama in Phoenix, where Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will pay Sonny and Will Horton (Chandler Massey) a visit.
Leo has a knack for pushing buttons – and he’ll push Sonny’s too hard apparently!
Sonny will wind up decking Leo in a fit of anger, but we’ll also see some sizzling shower scenes between Sonny and Will as they get some alone time.
Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and a tiara-wearing Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) will also enjoy a New Orleans honeymoon that ties in with all the gem madness.
Eileen Davidson is also featured in Days’ new promo, but who is she playing?
Davidson’s character can be seen fluffing her hair and sounding rather Kristen DiMera-like as she declares, “God helps those who help themselves.”
The preview features a shot of another one of Davidson’s characters, Sister Mary Moira Banks, in her nun’s habit.
Something tells us Kristen will pose as Sister Mary Moira and remove the disguise eventually, which would explain the hair fluff and her intriguing comment.
This Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem promo wraps up with Billie Reed (Lisa Rinna) running into a drag queen who looks awfully familiar.
“So who are you supposed to be?” Billie asks her lookalike. Jackie Cox from RuPaul’s Drag Race will play this fun role and get tangled up in Billie’s ISA mission somehow.
