Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that if Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) wasn’t well on her way to redemption before, she’ll soon be on her way. As viewers are aware, Bonnie made a rather big impression with the Kiriakis clan on Christmas when Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) revealed that Bonnie had donated the proceeds from her lawsuit to breast cancer research.
Even grumbly Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) was touched by Bonnie’s gesture in Adrienne Kiriakis’ (Judi Evans) memory, and he allowed Bonnie to stay for the holiday festivities at the mansion. Well, in the coming days, Bonnie will once again prove herself to the people of Salem, and it seems to Justin in particular.
As DOOL viewers know, when the action left off last week, Bonnie happened to bump into Dr. Amanda Raynor (Victoria Platt) in the park. Of course, Bonnie had no idea who Dr. Raynor was and that the twin babies she had in tow were the kidnapped twins of Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers).
As far as Bonnie could tell, the twins belonged to Dr. Raynor, but as the week unfolds, Bonnie will offhandedly mention the encounter with the babies to Justin, and it looks like Justin will quickly put the pieces together and realize that Bonnie must have seen the Grant twins along with their kidnapper.
From there, it appears that Bonnie will work with a sketch artist, and that will produce a likeness that Lani and Valerie Grant (Vanessa Williams) will recognize as being Dr. Raynor. This will be a huge step in the investigation into the missing twins, and Bonnie will right at the center of the whole thing.
Everyone will owe Bonnie some gratitude – after all, she’ll have given the cops their biggest lead in finding the twins, and at least she’ll be able to tell a rattled Lani and Eli that their babies were seemingly being cared for and not harmed in any way.
Lani and Eli will still be in a race to find the babies, but at least Bonnie can put their minds at ease in some form.
So, it looks like Bonnie will be seen as a hero of sorts, although she’ll probably be upset to learn that she came into contact with kidnapped babies and let Dr. Raynor walk off with them. Of course, that’s not Bonnie’s fault, and Justin and everyone else will probably reassure Bonnie that she’s been a huge help.
This situation might also further along Bonnie and Justin’s burgeoning relationship. Days of Our Lives spoilers say that Bonnie’s good side will come out as she reassures Lani that everything will be ok and that they’re going to find the babies. Justin might be impressed and touched by Bonnie’s compassionate side!
