Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that one NBC soap star has an exciting new side project, so let’s talk about Camila Banus’ (Camila Banus) fun holiday role. Banus is attached to a film called Christmas & Postre, which is shooting now and currently has a TBA release date.
There’s no word yet on who Banus will be playing, but the movie’s being billed as “Puerto Rican Christmas movie” and filming is taking place in Los Angeles. Cristina Boda penned the script for what’s sure to be an adorable holiday flick.
It turns out the director for this film also happens to have connections to the soap world. Brittany Underwood played Langston Wilde on One Life to Live and had roles on Youthful Daze as well as The Bay.
Underwood is serving as the director of Christmas & Postre, which is being produced by Autumn Federici and Jake Helgren for Ninth House Films and Marvita Entertainment. No plot details are available for the film at this point, but it sounds like the usual holiday fare!
Most of us know what to expect out of a cute Christmas movie, but this one is sure to be special with Banus starring in it. Of course, it’s common for Days stars to shoot side projects like this in LA, so there’s no need to be worried about Banus leaving DOOL.
Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Gabi has much more Salem drama to come – including Gabi’s long-awaited reunion with Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash). Jake and Gabi fans are eagerly anticipating the moment when these two finally accept the flying sparks that keep happening between them.
Days fans can expect Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) to move into Chloe Lane’s (Nadia Bjorlin) direction soon since it looks like DOOL’s gearing up for a Philip, Chloe and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) love triangle.
Gabi just isn’t that into Philip, so this dating attempt will ultimately fizzle and pave the way for Gabi to reconnect with Jake in a steamy way.
