Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Camila Banus (Gabi Hernandez DiMera) recently revealed some sad news about Gabi and Jake DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) baby and family plans. In an Instagram live chat with Brandon Barash, Banus dashed the dreams of all the fans rooting for Jake and Gabi to have a baby together.
Banus argued that Gabi couldn’t have more children and added that Gabi wouldn’t be able to carry the baby to term. When Barash pointed out this is a daytime drama where anything’s possible, Banus disagreed in this case. She thought it was clear that Gabi would never have children ever again.
Even so, Barash felt like Banus was too quick to dismiss the idea. He suggested those were “famous last words,” but Banus countered that a pregnancy “ain’t gonna happen!”
Barash and Banus had a lighthearted argument about the possibility, which ended with Banus admitting that maybe she was wrong despite what she felt in her heart of hearts.
As for Barash, he pointed out you should “never say never” on Days. We’d say Barash has the right idea considering how many miracle babies have happened on soaps over the years. Gabi was told it’d be unlikely she’d be able to carry a baby, but that doesn’t mean it’s impossible.
There’s always hope that Gabi might get a surprise DOOL pregnancy somewhere down the road.
Of course, there are other ways to have a child, so that’s something to keep in mind as well. Gabi could use a surrogate or even adopt with Jake if they decided to expand their family another way.
Regardless, Jake can be part of Arianna Horton’s (Sydney Brower) life and perhaps take on the role of stepdad eventually.
Days spoilers say some curveballs are ahead for Gabi and Jake, so don’t expect things to be smooth sailing – especially while Kate Roberts DiMera (Lauren Koslow) is trying to recover from her traumatic brain injury.
There are some surprising medical issues coming up that’ll make things complicated for Gabi and Jake’s romance.
Even so, we have no doubt that Jake and Gabi are endgame. Whether they’re able to have a baby together when the time comes or not, Gabi and Jake can still be a family with Arianna. It’s just going to take a little time to reach that happy place and truly begin their future.
