Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that two Salem outcasts could come together. DOOL fans know Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) twisted plans are winding down, so she’s almost ready to divulge the details of her agenda.
However, life as Gwen knew it at the DiMera mansion is also blowing up, so she’ll have to figure out a new way forward.
Gwen might even find that revenge isn’t quite as satisfying as she thought it’d be. Who will Gwen lean on now that she’s alienated everyone in her life? Gwen’s going to need a stranger to confide in soon enough, so let’s consider who that might be.
Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) is facing a new path now that his own secrets are exploding. During the week of January 25-29, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Charlie will connect with someone surprising.
There’ll be a character on canvas that Charlie finds comfort with – and it’ll be somebody viewers might not expect.
Will Charlie cross paths with Gwen and do some commiserating? Charlie assaulted Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) as well as kidnapped and drugged Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun), so DOOL can’t pair him up with a nice girl like Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) again.
Redemption might be possible, but it’s just easier to slide a villainess in Charlie’s direction if he’s going to stick around.
Since Gwen is likely Jack Deveraux’s (Matthew Ashford) bio daughter and Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) half-sister, it’s easy to see how these stories could fit together.
Gwen was jealous of Abigail’s perfect life and set to destroy it. She clearly thinks Abigail is the apple of Daddy’s eye.
We’ve also got Charlie, who feels like Ava has never really loved him. Charlie has been so fed up with the way his half-brother, Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams), is adored and favored.
Charlie recently suggested that since Ava never acknowledged him as her son, why should he acknowledge her as his mother?
Gwen may completely understand Charlie’s perspective since she views her own half-sibling as the favored one – while Gwen was left unacknowledged by her father. Since Charlie and Gwen’s situations seem so similar, it’s tough to imagine Days ignoring that fact.
That’s especially true since Gwen and Charlie could both use a friend at the same time. It seems likely that Gwen will be the surprising character that Charlie bonds with.
The question is: Will they keep things platonic or become a new couple? That probably depends on how long Charlie and Gwen remain on canvas, but we’ll see how it goes!
