Paulina and Abe Carver (James Reynolds) settled on the third week in November for their wedding, so it’ll be here before you know it.
Abe and Paulina have agreed on an intimate affair, but that won’t make it any less explosive when two shocking DOOL secrets are revealed!
It’s obvious that Days is gearing up to expose Lani’s real mother and father at this event. It’s just a matter of how the truth will come out.
Marlena’s possession will play a huge role in this story since the devil will be extremely interested in causing pain and wreaking havoc.
Days spoilers say Abe will push for Marlena as the officiant, which will make Paulina nervous. The devil probably won’t want to waste his time with the ceremony, but Paulina may seek reassurance that Marlena will keep everything under wraps.
When Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) sought baby advice, it gave the devil an idea for his “magnificent” plan.
The devil quickly latched onto the notion of gaining control of Ben’s child. We may see the wheels start turning for possessed Marlena on this true parentage drama next.
The devil will be in full control of Marlena by then and may realize yet another golden opportunity has dropped into his lap.
Naturally, possessed Marlena can’t just get up in front of the crowd and make some big announcement. The devil has to stay in character as Marlena – at least as much as he can.
It wouldn’t be very Marlena-like to break doctor-confidentiality for no reason in front of a crowd.
The devil’s best bet would be to use someone like Chanel to blow things up instead. That’d make the family conflict even worse and add to possessed Marlena’s pleasure in the aftermath.
Chanel has already been weirded out about Johnny DiMera’s (Carson Boatman) movie, though she’s trying to be supportive.
Johnny jokingly assured Chanel that he wouldn’t let the devil get her, but he won’t realize Marlena’s too close for comfort!
Chanel will get upset with Paulina when she makes Lani her maid of honor, so that could lead to Chanel opening up to Marlena at a therapy session.
Chanel may feel resentful of Paulina and Lani’s growing bond, so the devil inside Marlena could “help” her work through that.
Of course, possessed Marlena may actually lead Chanel down a bad path.
Perhaps Marlena could even leave Paulina’s case file out where Chanel might see what they discussed – leading to the revelation that Lani is her sister by Paulina and a man other than Abe.
One way or another, Marlena should be able to fuel Chanel’s outrage with Paulina.
Will Chanel be angry enough to blurt out the truth about Lani’s biological parents at the wedding? That just might be the option the devil goes with, but we’ll pass along updates as other Days news comes in.
