Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that we’ve got a 2022 preview to share, which includes twisted revenge, divorce drama and a near-death experience. The year ahead will bring some exciting surprises, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
For starters, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will undergo a successful exorcism, but she’ll struggle a bit in the aftermath.
Marlena won’t remember much about what went down while the devil was in control of her mind and body, but she’ll feel responsible anyway.
Although Marlena’s nearest and dearest will be glad she’s in control again, she’ll still want to apologize to several key players in town.
Marlena will try her best to make things right, but that’ll be easier said than done in some cases.
As for Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun), viewers will see her sinister side as she targets Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering).
Once Ava knows the extent of Rafe and Nicole’s betrayal, she’ll mess with them and kick off a revenge plot that could have serious consequences.
Other Days spoilers say Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) will get some stunning news from her mother when Nancy Wesley (Patrika Darbo) shows up in Salem.
That news will involve Chloe’s father, Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas), and his relationship with Nancy.
It sounds like Chloe might learn her parents are splitting up and battle doubts about finding true love herself.
Despite Chloe and Brady Black’s attempt to stay friends, they’ll be tempted to cross back over into romantic territory.
Next, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) will assure Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) that he wasn’t behind her kidnapping.
Unfortunately, Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) will do everything in his power to make sure EJ goes down for it anyway!
Belle Brady (Martha Madison) will represent EJ in court, so Sami may not approve of her sister siding with the enemy – that is until the explosive truth comes out.
Lucas is actually the one who ordered Sami’s snatching, so that secret will eventually be revealed and stir up more trouble.
Until then, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will stumble across the real story and know EJ is innocent. Instead of helping to clear EJ’s name, Chad will use the situation to his advantage and run DiMera Enterprises without EJ’s interference.
Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) will play a big role in convincing Chad to play dirty, but Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) and Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) will still hope for a DiMera takeover.
After Johnny DiMera’s (Carson Boatman) marriage falls apart, he’ll lean on Gabi and make her see the potential to grab his shares.
As for Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens), she’ll wallow in sorrow and get some comfort from Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) – which could be risky considering their lingering feelings for each other!
Since Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) found Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) before, Brady will hope he can do it once again.
Kristen will still be under suspicion in Philip Kiriakis’ (Jay Kenneth Johnson) case as far as Brady’s concerned, so he’ll send Steve off on a mission to find his ex.
Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) will tag along for the ride, so this will turn into quite the adventure story!
While Steve and Kayla go on a Kristen hunt, Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) will work to find Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey). She’ll do it as a favor to Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers), but Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will think Abigail just wants to mess things up for her.
Gwen’s romance with Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) could indeed crumble if Sarah comes home. She’ll also have to worry about Xander potentially finding out she knew about Sarah’s island captivity and didn’t come clean.
While all this is on Gwen’s mind, Xander will decide he wants to lock in their future. He’ll pop the question and raise the stakes for Gwen, so Days fans will want to stay tuned.
Finally, Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) will land in some deadly danger and just barely make it out alive. Lani Price-Grant’s (Sal Stowers) cold heart will start to thaw, but then a man from Paulina’s history will blow into town.
That could be Paulina’s abusive ex Ray, so Lani might meet her biological father and realize he’s just as terrible as Paulina remembered! As other Days details roll in, we’ll bring you updates.
