Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that the show’s fall preview features some scary twists, a new love quad, some engagement news and more. Here’s what DOOL fans can look forward to this fall in Salem.
First, Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) will decide to ignore the jealousy she’s feeling over Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) dating Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman). She’ll stand by her commitment to Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams), but we’ll see if more trouble hits down the road.
In the meantime, Johnny will feel like he’s got something to prove now that Allie has framed him as such a player. Johnny assured Chanel that he wasn’t like that anymore, so he’ll hope to show her just what a great guy he can be.
Of course, Johnny won’t let his personal life get in the way of his career goals. He’ll keep working on that movie of his and will even recruit Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) to star in it once she returns to Salem.
Abigail will hear Johnny’s pitch and give it some thought, but Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) might worry this isn’t a good idea.
As for EJ DiMera (Dan Feurriegel), he’ll remain against the film entirely and will keep up his efforts to lure Johnny into the family business.
John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) have some excitement coming up this fall – and it’ll likely involve Johnny’s movie.
There’s been some buzz about Johnny doing research on Marlena’s old possession as a setup to revisit that creepy storyline. Whatever the case, Marlena and John have a surprising threat to their marriage in their future.
Speaking of the future, Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) will disagree about the one they’re planning together.
Despite Ciara’s desire to make a baby soon, Ben will be reluctant due to the disturbing parts of his past. He won’t want to pass down any deadly DNA, but Ciara will try to help Ben move beyond his concerns.
Other Days spoilers say Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) and Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) romance will eventually deepen – all while Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) and Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) work on their Titan takeover scheme.
After Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) grows suspicious of Gabi and her agenda, he’ll find a familiar partner in crime.
It’s no secret that Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) loathes Gabi, so look for Ava and Philip to form an alliance against Gabi as well as Jake.
A love quad will also form featuring Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), Ava, Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) and EJ. Nicole will try to keep her distance and let Rafe work things out with Ava if at all possible.
That’ll give Nicole an opportunity to grow closer to EJ and revisit their romantic history.
Over with Paulina Price (Jackee Harry), guilt will take a toll as she struggles with the temptation to tell Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) the truth. Paulina will hate lying, but she’ll also hate the thought of blowing up Lani’s life with the bio mom bomb.
That bomb would destroy Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) world as well, but he’ll remain blissfully unaware that he’s not Lani’s biological father.
Days spoilers say Abe will pop the question and up the ante once he’s officially engaged to Paulina.
Finally, Doug Williams’ (Bill Hayes) mental decline will cause concern after he puts Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) in a scary situation and then disappears.
This will be a powerful story that’s full of strong emotions, so don’t miss the gripping drama ahead.
