Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) and Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) are set to have what will inevitably be a disastrous anniversary party. Greg Vaughan’s return to DOOL will bring cheating drama and a couple blowup, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
There’s no word on Greg Vaughan’s first day back in the role just yet, but it looks like it’ll be during the week of July 12-16. That’s when Nicole and Eric will plan a bash at the last minute to celebrate their wedding anniversary.
Nicole will naturally be feeling guilty about her terrible decision to cheat on Eric with Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) of all people, so that’ll make things difficult on her end.
Of course, Eric will no doubt be perfectly sweet and devoted to Nicole once he’s back in the picture. Like EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), Eric will probably see the error of his ways and know he needs to be a better husband.
Perhaps Eric will apologize to Nicole for staying away so long and making her feel like she wasn’t as important to him as his mission work.
Eric will be ready to embrace a fresh start, so this anniversary will serve as the beginning of a new chapter.
Maybe Eric will even want to renew their vows, which Nicole probably wouldn’t be opposed to considering she’s broken her own. Days spoilers say Nicole will be looking for a clean slate as well.
Regardless, a lot can go wrong in Salem when you plan a big anniversary gathering while keeping a terrible secret under wraps. This is the classic soapy setup for a shocking exposure.
Days spoilers say Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) will try to strike a deal with Xander, so that could be a factor in the chaos that’s brewing.
However, something tells us the email draft Nicole saved will mainly be what comes back to haunt her.
Nicole confessed all in that unsent email, so Eric might stumble across it immediately before the anniversary party and come looking for his wife in a very public setting.
Whatever the case, Days will most likely let Nicole’s cheating secret explode during the week of July 19-23 once the bash is in full swing. We’ll offer updates as other news rolls in.
