Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Friday, April 16, tease that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will discover some proof that points at a new suspect. This has to involve the red button missing from Belle Brady’s (Martha Madison) coat, which DOOL fans saw in the evidence bag.
Rafe should be able to connect that button to Belle, so he’ll assume she was in Charlie Dale’s (Mike Manning) apartment that night. Since Charlie broke Claire Brady’s (Isabel Durant) heart and nearly attacked her, Belle certainly had a motive to go after him.
Days spoilers say DA Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) will push Rafe to make an arrest and solve this case, so he’ll be feeling the pressure. It won’t be long until Rafe confronts Belle, who’ll insist she’s innocent and never even went to Charlie’s apartment.
Even so, Rafe will feel he has no choice but to arrest Belle, so she’ll be read her rights within the next episode or two. In the meantime, Claire will blast Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) for targeting her family and getting away with it.
Claire won’t be happy about the deal Jan struck to keep herself out of trouble, but Jan will apologize and hope to smooth things over with her “BFF.”
Over with John Black (Drake Hogestyn), he’ll urge Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) to use hypnosis to help him remember the truth about the night of the shooting. John will indeed be put under, so he just might remember something that incriminates Belle.
Things will be looking bad for John’s daughter, but Belle isn’t the guilty party. Someone else shot Charlie – and Days viewers will find out who that someone is when the killer’s revealed on Monday, April 19.
We’ll see if Friday’s cliffhanger ties in or if DOOL saves that as a true shocker for Monday instead.
Until then, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) will cross paths at the pub.
After something slips out of Allie’s grasp, Tripp will reach down to help. There’ll be a cute little hand collision that results in a special moment between Tripp and Allie, so they’ll keep growing closer.
