Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Friday, April 23, tease that Kate Roberts DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) will grow suspicious during her conversation with “Susan Banks” aka Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk). It won’t be long until Kate realizes this must be twisted Kristen, not innocent Susan!
After Kate rips off Kristen’s wig and threatens to expose her, Kristen will feel she has no choice but to move forward with her extreme plan. Vivian Alamain (Linda Dano) liked the sound of Kristen putting Kate on a desert island, so Kristen will take Kate hostage in preparation for that.
Kate will likely be knocked out and held in the DiMera tunnels until Kristen can make the remaining preparations.
In the town square on Friday’s DOOL episode, Jake will clash with Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) before Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) saunters over. Jake will take this opportunity to inform them both that he’ll be getting out of Salem for a few weeks.
Kate has agreed to a private island getaway with Jake, so he’ll let Gabi know he’s glad he won’t have to keep running into her constantly. However, the thought of Jake being so far away will upset Gabi.
Although Gabi may try not to let it show, she’ll hate the idea of not making any additional progress or stirring up any more jealousy in Jake.
Philip will probably argue that Jake’s got the right idea and push Gabi to just enjoy the break from him. Even so, Jake’s updates will leave Gabi disheartened and wishing she could shut down this getaway.
Of course, Days spoilers say Jake isn’t going anywhere without Kate, who’ll be locked up by Kristen soon enough!
Meanwhile, Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) will surprise Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) with a confession. Chloe will struggle to believe it when Lucas claims his feelings for her have returned.
Lucas may even insist those feelings have never really gone away. He’ll push for another chance with Chloe, but she’ll be hesitant to give him one.
That’s when Lucas will blurt out that he’s dying! After Lucas claims to have a terminal brain tumor, Days spoilers say Chloe will have to rethink things a bit.
Lucas will tug at Chloe’s heartstrings by lying about not having long left to live. He’ll beg Chloe for a reunion so he can fully enjoy whatever time he has remaining, so Chloe will have to mull over this news.
Other Days of Our Lives spoilers say Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) and Chanel Dupree Kiriakis (Precious Way) will meet with Paulina Price (Jackee Harry).
Paulina will lash out over Xander’s demand for $10 million, but Chanel will play the victim and hope Paulina hands over the money for them to split.
Paulina will indeed give Xander a check, but we’ll see if it’s the $10 million or if she does some negotiating. Either way, it looks like Chanel and Xander will have a reason to celebrate.
Paulina will catch them both downing Champagne and apparently realize she’s been scammed. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Xander and Chanel will get put on full blast once Monday rolls around, so Friday should be the start of Paulina’s big outburst.
