Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Friday, April 30, reveals that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) showed up with flowers and an apology for Claire Brady (Isabel Durant).
Ben was sorry for how he handled things with Claire before, but she understood how desperate Ben was to stop Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) from leaving for South Africa with Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson).
Claire found out Ciara indeed left with Theo and gave Ben a comforting hug. Ben didn’t know what he was going to do since Ciara was his whole world.
At the hospital, Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) was about to tell Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) something when Dr. Snyder (Michael Lowry) walked in on their close moment.
Dr. Snyder wondered what was going on, so Tripp explained he was telling Allie goodbye after helping Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) out with the case.
After Dr. Snyder pulled Tripp aside, he scolded him for being unprofessional and unethical. Tripp was apologetic and assured Dr. Snyder that it wouldn’t happen again.
Dr. Snyder sent Tripp on his break before rounds started up again, so Tripp went on his way. Meanwhile on Friday’s Days of Our Lives episode, Allie interrupted Claire and Ben’s conversation.
Ben decided to head out, so that gave Allie a chance to talk to Claire about what happened at the hospital with Tripp.
Allie admitted she hadn’t felt like this about a guy in a long time – like she wanted to kiss him. Claire asked if Allie did kiss Tripp, but Allie explained that Tripp’s boss came in before she could.
Allie was uncertain about moving forward with Tripp due to their complicated history, but Claire felt like Allie and Tripp could be good for each other. She thought Tripp and Allie could have a bright future together.
After Allie left to pick up Henry Horton’s (Jayna and Kinsley Fox) prescription, so Claire gazed over at the flowers Ben brought her and smiled. Back with Tripp, he found Ben sitting in the town square.
Ben filled Tripp in on Ciara’s departure and how she still hadn’t gotten her missing memories back.
Tripp offered some support before talk turned to Allie – and Ben quickly realized something might be going on between Tripp and Allie based on Tripp’s smile. Tripp thought there might be, but he wasn’t sure.
Ben felt like over the last few years, he’d learned nothing was impossible when it came to love.
At the pub, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) sauntered in wearing her Kate Roberts DiMera mask. “Kate” suggested she’d had a crisis of the heart and that her relationship with Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) was over.
Jake was confused and asked plenty of questions, but “Kate” blamed Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) as well as their age difference.
“Kate” insisted she was moving out and resigning from DiMera Enterprises as well, but Jake didn’t think any of this made sense. He grabbed “Kate’s” arm to stop her from leaving, so Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) walked over to tell Jake to get his hands off her.
“Kate” explained that she’d just broken up with Jake and that he’d gone all neanderthal on her.
Jake felt like he wasn’t getting the whole story, but he vowed to find out the rest and stormed out. “Kate” was thankful to Roman for coming to her rescue – and Roman was glad to see “Kate” took his advice and accepted that Jake wasn’t a good match for her.
Roman hoped this meant “Kate” was open to getting back together, so “Kate” looked uncomfortable. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Kate will have to wiggle out of this jam once Monday rolls around, so DOOL fans won’t want to miss what’s ahead!
Back in the town square, Jake ran into Ben and admitted Kate had just broken up with him. Ben wondered why, so Jake confessed that he had no idea.
After Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) suffered more cramps on Friday’s Days episode, she rushed to the hospital and got an ultrasound. Dr. Snyder performed it and discovered there was no heartbeat.
Gwen was devastated and demanded to know why this happened, but Dr. Snyder argued that sometimes things just weren’t meant to be.
Once Dr. Snyder talked about scheduling a procedure to clear Gwen’s uterine lining, Gwen stopped him from leaving to ask if he could tell her baby’s gender. Dr. Snyder admitted the baby had been a girl, so Gwen sobbed over losing her unborn daughter.
At the Horton house, Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) continued his phone conversation with Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain) and hoped Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) would find a way to understand his decision to let Gwen move in.
Jennifer wondered if Jack really thought Abigail would, so Jack confessed he thought Abigail would flip out.
Later, Jack showed up at the DiMera mansion to give Abigail the news about Gwen moving in – and she flipped out as predicted. Although Jack insisted Gwen had no one else to turn to, Abigail was furious. She felt like Jack was just going to do whatever he wanted anyway, so she ultimately stomped upstairs.
Afterward, Chad asked Jack if he’d pass along updates about Gwen’s baby, so Jack agreed. Up in Abigail’s room, she vented to Jennifer over the phone about Jack moving Gwen in the Horton house. Jennifer did her best to help Abigail understand Jack’s perspective since he couldn’t turn his back on his daughter.
Next on Friday’s Days of Our Lives episode, Gwen showed up looking for Chad and found Abigail instead. Abigail asked “what the hell” Gwen was doing there, but then she suspected this was about Gwen’s “precious baby.” Gwen had something to tell Abigail, so Abigail assumed Gwen meant about her moving in with Jack.
Abigail called Gwen a parasite and snapped about how this baby was nothing but a meal ticket for her. “You shut the hell up!” Gwen fired back.
Abigail argued that Gwen already tried to steal her husband and now she was trying to steal her dad. She insisted Gwen should leave since nobody around there cared about her or her “damn baby.”
Abigail said she felt sorry for Gwen’s baby, who was an accident and would have Gwen as her awful mom. Abigail added that Gwen was like her own mother: “a lying, heartless slut.”
Gwen slapped Abigail in a fit of rage, so Abigail snarled that Gwen should get out of the house.
When Gwen dashed toward the stairs and insisted on speaking with Chad, Abigail shouted that Gwen should stay away from her husband. “I want you and that baby out of my life for good!”
Abigail insisted as she grabbed Gwen’s arm. Gwen struggled and fell back, which led to her tumbling in slow motion down the staircase. Jack and Chad looked horrified as Gwen wound up unconscious on the floor.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gwen will use this terrible situation against Abigail soon enough, so stay tuned to DOOL! CDL will have all the scorching Days of Our Lives spoilers, updates and news you need, so make us your hotspot.
