Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Friday, April 9, tease that Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) will share a bag of potato chips with Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo), so that’ll bring some laughs and eventually a deeper conversation.
Sami will confide that she’s having issues in her marriage to EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), who’s recovered and still unwilling to touch his wife.
Sami will talk to Lucas about how distant EJ seems emotionally. It sounds like Sami feels unloved and unwanted, but Lucas won’t think that’s right after everything she’s done to help EJ. After Lucas rants about EJ being ungrateful, Days of Our Lives spoilers say things will heat up between Sami and her ex.
Sami and Lucas will lean in for a kiss that turns leads to sleeping together, so there’ll definitely be some steamy bedroom moments. As for Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), he’ll push Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) to reveal what she’s holding back about the night Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) was killed.
Ava was previously determined to protect Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams), so she won’t be keen on confessing.
However, Rafe may pry something out of Ava or just assume that maybe Tripp is a factor here. Either way, Tripp will open up to Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) across town and perhaps contemplate coming forward.
While Tripp confides in Steve, it seems Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) will pump Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) for information.
Allie may try to find out whether Tripp’s guilty without actually confronting him. As Allie told Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker), she doesn’t want to accuse Tripp of another crime he didn’t commit! Allie will desperately want to keep Tripp out of trouble and will really hope he’s not to blame.
Of course, no one knows for sure what went down on Tripp’s end, so that’s what Rafe will try to figure out when he corners Tripp on Friday’s DOOL episode. Rafe might end up taking Tripp into custody, but Days spoilers say a new suspect will emerge by next week, April 12-16.
In the meantime, Belle Brady (Martha Madison) will go against John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn) wishes and offer Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) a deal. Jan will be given some paperwork to sign, which will allow Jan to go free if she lets John go free, too.
Belle will think it’s a fair trade since Jan won’t be prosecuted for holding Belle at gunpoint and kidnapping her. Nevertheless, Jan will grumble about John nearly strangling her to death and getting away with it. She’ll sign the papers and close the deal, but she’ll definitely have complaints.
As for John, he’ll corner Jan in her hospital room and toss some threats around. There’ll be a furious faceoff as John grabs Jan’s arm and makes it clear that his family is not to be messed with! We’ll bring you updates as other Days news comes in.
