Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Friday, August 27, tease that Calista Lockhart (Cady Huffman) will shake up Salem, so look for Bonnie Lockhart’s (Judi Evans) sly former sister-in-law to cause problems. Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) will also hope that he’s found some new film investors, so let’s talk about what’s next on Days.
At the Kiriakis mansion, DOOL will reveal the arrival that just stunned Bonnie. Cady Huffman will make her debut as Calista Lockhart, Bonnie’s former sister-in-law. Bonnie thought Calista was dead – and it looks like Bonnie may faint from the shock of seeing her again.
However, Calista will make sure Bonnie’s awake and alert for this next part. It turns out Calista will need Bonnie’s help, so she’ll threaten to expose some crime of the past if Bonnie doesn’t cooperate.
Bonnie will be in a tight spot as she prepares for her nuptials and fights to keep her secrets buried.
In the meantime, Days spoilers say Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) will push Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) to be his best man.
The request won’t thrill Steve, but he’s agreed to give Bonnie the benefit of the doubt and sees that she makes Justin happy.
Steve should assure Justin that he’ll be at the wedding tomorrow – that is if there’s a wedding at all considering all this Calista drama!
Speaking of drama, Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) will hope she can get past any jealousy pangs and just accept that Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) has a new man in her life.
When Allie stops by the hospital with Henry Horton (Jayna and Kinsley Fox), she’ll speak with Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) and Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams).
Tripp will also deliver a box to Chanel in the town square, so that may involve some Sweet Bits Bakery supplies.
Since everyone’s trying to get along and move forward, Allie and Tripp will plan to meet up with Chanel and her new mystery man.
It won’t be long until Tripp and Allie are waiting at the restaurant, but they’ll have no idea that Allie’s twin brother is the one who’s caught Chanel’s attention.
Chanel will definitely catch EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feurriegel) attention as well when Johnny offers an introduction.
It seems Allie never mentioned EJ being her stepfather, so Chanel should remain in the dark on any Allie connection.
EJ is always looking for an angle to work, so he might hope he can somehow use Chanel to his advantage.
Since Chanel cares about her family, EJ might remind Johnny that he should support his own family and join DiMera Enterprises.
Of course, Johnny has no intention of giving up on his filmmaking career – not yet anyway!
In fact, Johnny will make a pitch to Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) and Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) in hopes of securing them as investors for his new movie.
