Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Friday, December 17, teases that Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) will need a hero while Belle Brady (Martha Madison) considers a new murder theory. Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) will also blast lying Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson), so there’ll be plenty of DOOL drama going down.
In the town square, Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) will be annoyed by Xander Cook Kiriakis’ (Paul Telfer) questions about Sarah.
Days spoilers say Rex won’t get why Xander’s bothering him about his ex – and Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will just want to get Xander away from the situation before he learns too much!
However, Xander will indeed find out that Rex and Sarah’s reunion didn’t pan out. When Xander realizes Sarah broke things off before they ever left town, he’ll be incredibly confused.
Xander thought Sarah dumped him to get back together with Rex, especially since believes he caught them in bed.
The truth is “Sarah” was actually Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) in a realistic mask. The real Sarah was plopped on a remote island, where she’s no doubt wondering when Xander’s going to figure this out and rescue her.
A rescue is the last thing Gwen wants, so she’ll try to fix this after Rex blabs. Gwen might contend that Sarah would reach out if she wanted to and push Xander to just keep his former flame in the rearview mirror.
Sarah will keep holding out for a hero offscreen while Xander deals with some nagging concerns in the back of his mind.
Meanwhile, Brady will sit in the interrogation room and contemplate what he remembered by the riverbank. Things are hazy, but Brady feels like Philip was getting aggressive with him – not the other way around.
Days spoilers say Belle will show up to see Brady now that he’s been arrested. After Belle gets updates on what Brady recalled, she’ll work on a new theory.
Belle will suspect Brady might’ve been framed for Philip’s murder – and she may suspect it was Philip himself who did the framing!
While Belle tries to sort through the facts, Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) will take Brady’s hand in a tender moment.
Chloe will show her faith in Brady’s innocence, so that’ll mean a lot to him. Philip has succeeded in blowing up Brady’s life, but it looks like this ordeal could actually bring Brady and Chloe much closer.
Next, Kate will demand some answers from Philip, who was waiting in her room after she declared him legally dead.
Philip will be sorry for scaring Kate, but he’ll argue that he had to teach Brady and Chloe a lesson.
We’ll see Philip flash back to that night as he explains exactly how he set Brady up for the perfect crime.
Kate has been known to sink pretty low with ruthless schemes. She can understand being angry enough to want vengeance, but she’ll feel like Philip’s just digging a giant hole for himself.
Kate won’t know how Philip’s going to climb out of it, but Philip may contend that he has a plan. He’ll just need Kate to hide him until he can carry out the next steps.
While Kate is forced to join Philip’s plot, possessed Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will concentrate on her own revenge.
Marlena recently got an idea about how to make Belle and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) pay a heavy price for causing problems.
Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) will become part of the action again, but first Marlena has to find Jan and wake her up from her coma.
The devil will transform into a version of Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) to knock Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) out and sneak in Jan’s hospital room, so there’s more sinister mischief on the way.
Jan will be fully awake and alert once Monday gets here, so Friday’s cliffhanger may show Jan opening her eyes.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Jan and Marlena will become quite the devilish duo, so keep watching DOOL!
