Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Friday, December 24, teases that John Black (Drake Hogestyn) will stop Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) terror while Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) gets a shocking reunion. Belle Brady (Martha Madison) will also rage at Jan Spears (Heather Lindell), so there’ll be plenty of highs and lows happening this Christmas Eve!
At the Horton house, possessed Marlena won’t be done putting on a fire show. The Christmas tree is currently flaming, but the devil will add a couple burning torches to the mix soon enough.
Marlena will bring up her twisted plans for Ciara Brady Weston’s (Victoria Konefal) baby, but Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will vow to shield his wife and unborn child.
Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) and Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) will try to order the devil out, but Marlena won’t budge.
Meanwhile, John will figure out where Marlena is and rush right over. Days spoilers say John will be determined to thwart all this destruction and get through to his wife.
Although John will apparently figure out a way to restrain Marlena, he won’t be able to cast the devil out on his own.
As John awaits a miracle and prays for a sign that he’s on the right track, Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) will come home for Christmas.
Eric will be a priest again, so John will realize Eric’s the perfect person to pitch in on Marlena’s exorcism – though it’ll actually be a giant family effort during the week of December 27-31.
Until then, Belle will confront the woman in Shawn Brady’s (Brandon Beemer) bed and find out her evil twin is none other than Jan Spears!
The transformation will wear off and give Belle a chance to rip into Jan with everything she’s got.
Shawn will place Jan under arrest and plan to throw her in lock up at the Salem PD, but what about Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams)?
Marlena transformed Tripp into Jan for another trick at the hospital, but that deception is about to fade away, too.
Days spoilers say Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will be relieved when their search for Tripp ends with a reunion.
Allie may notice the bracelet “Jan” is wearing before he turns back to Tripp in that hospital bed.
After Tripp wakes up, he’ll have to piece together what happened and get his Christmas plans with Allie back on track.
Tripp, Allie and Henry Horton (Nash Gunderson) will all be spending the holiday together, so they won’t let the devil get them down!
At the DiMera mansion on Friday’s DOOL episode, Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) will return from Boston with someone special.
When Jack reveals that he brought Jennifer Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) back to Salem, Abigail will squeal with delight and run into her mom’s arms.
Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) and Charlotte DiMera (Autumn Gendron) will also be excited to see Jennifer, who’ll join in the holiday festivities.
Once things settle down at the Horton house, Jennifer and the fam will come over to help trim the tree and celebrate this special night.
