Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Friday, December 31, tease that Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) will find Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Chanel DiMera (Raven Bowens) in bed while Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) apologizes to Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal), so here’s what DOOL has in store.
Since it’s New Year’s Eve, there’ll be plenty of celebrations happening in Salem. Ciara and Ben will plan to have a quiet one alone, but there’ll be some interruptions along the way.
Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) will stop by and perhaps complain about being left out of the loop on all the devil drama. He considers Ben to be a close friend and may want to make sure he’s OK along with Ciara.
Now that the devil has been cast out of Marlena, Ben and Ciara will hope it’ll be smooth sailing from here on out.
As Ciara and Ben look forward to having their first child in the new year, they’ll reflect on how grateful they are to be on this journey with each other.
There’ll definitely be some sweet moments for these two, but Ciara and Ben may be letting their guard down too soon.
The devil may still find ways to be a sinister presence in town, so perhaps Ben and Ciara should beware!
In the meantime, Marlena will head home after getting released from the hospital.
As happy as Marlena is to be free from the devil’s grasp, she’ll still have to deal with the reality of the destruction she caused while under his control.
Marlena will feel like she needs to make amends somehow, so that’ll be her New Year’s resolution for 2022.
Of course, Ben and Ciara’s place will be the first stop on Marlena’s apology tour, so she’ll indeed drop by with John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and let them know she’s deeply sorry.
It’s not Marlena’s fault she went off the rails, but she’ll want Ciara and Ben to know how upset she is over the situation anyway.
Next, Allie will decide she should apologize to Chanel and Johnny.
Days spoilers say Allie and Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) will head to the DiMera mansion, where Allie will suggest she was wrong to judge her bestie and brother’s rushed marriage.
It turns out Allie will extend this awkward olive branch while standing in front of Chanel and Johnny in bed together!
Tripp will be by Allie’s side for this uncomfortable scene, but things will take a more festive turn once Johnny and Chanel get dressed for a celebration downstairs.
Allie will convince Johnny and Chanel that she’s being sincere, so Chanel will be satisfied knowing her new sister-in-law supports her marriage.
Too bad Chanel and Johnny’s relationship is on the verge of blowing up in the new year!
Other Days spoilers say Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) will comfort Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney), who bought the fake evidence Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) presented to her.
Sami now believes EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) was truly responsible for her kidnapping, so she’ll feel like her world’s crashing down around her.
Gabi will get that love can be complicated and painful, so she’ll do her best to support Sami in her time of need.
Perhaps Gabi will even give Sami a nudge toward Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) since we know Sami will lean on him a little later.
Sami will feel like Lucas is the one she can always depend on.
Sami will end up reuniting with Lucas soon enough, so he’ll do everything in his power to make sure his true kidnapper status stays under wraps.
