Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Friday, January 29, tease that Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) will insist the jig is up. DOOL fans know Tripp just arrived at Charlie Dale’s (Mike Manning) apartment with new proof in the assault case.
Tripp handed over evidence that Charlie is Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) attacker, so these should be the results that prove Charlie’s DNA matches Henry Horton (Jayna and Kinsley Fox).
Of course, Charlie may argue that Tripp could just as easily be the father. Since Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) previously thought Tripp was the bio dad based on shared DNA, Charlie may suggest this presents reasonable doubt – especially since Allie already accused Tripp.
Tripp will want Charlie to cut the bull since they both know Charlie was the one who slipped in Allie’s apartment and violated her. Days spoilers say Tripp will blast Charlie for forcing himself on Allie and letting his brother take the blame for it.
Charlie will keep acting like Tripp’s responsible, but Tripp will contend that Charlie needs to own up to his mistakes and confess to the cops.
Naturally, Charlie won’t have any interest in coming clean and going to prison for his actions. He’ll give Tripp a hard pass on confessing and eventually kick him out again.
In the meantime, Days spoilers say Steve will take stunning proof to Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer). It sounds like Steve will also use these DNA results to bolster the case against Charlie, but they won’t be enough.
Tripp stole Charlie’s sample, so that’s problem number one. Unfortunately, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) also pointed out that even a perfectly legal DNA test wouldn’t be enough to convict Charlie. It makes sense considering it wasn’t enough to convict Tripp either.
Besides, this is still out of the Salem PD’s jurisdiction. It’s up to the authorities in London to decide whether they want to pursue charges against Charlie. However, Allie’s new memories could help once she reveals what happened in her hypnosis session.
Allie can accuse Charlie with certainty, though her previous story could muddy the waters and make things complicated.
Since Days of Our Lives spoilers for February sweeps reveal a murder mystery is coming up, it seems likely Charlie will get justice in a different way! Until then, Allie will pay Tripp a visit and offer a sincere apology for accusing him before.
Tripp will understand and share a heartfelt conversation with Allie before he has a celebratory moment with Steve.
Next, Rafe will confide in Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker). Since Rafe’s struggling more than he’s letting on, he’ll probably use this opportunity to admit how much he misses Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso).Nicole understands on some level since she’s been missing Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) as well.
Days spoilers state that Nicole will feel Rafe’s pain and do her best to lift his spirits.
Across town, Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will get a shocking sign – one that tells him he has to trust his instincts. There’ll be a fortune cookie that points Ben in the direction of true love!
Ben told Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) he wasn’t into fortunes these days since he can’t see a future without Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal).
It turns out Ben will open a significant fortune cookie anyway on Friday, so that’ll give him a sign and convince him a “Cin” reunion is possible. Deep down, Ben feels like Ciara is alive and this will show him he has to follow his heart.
Back with Ciara in captivity, she’ll keep banging until a man Rhodes (Jason Downs) appears. Rhodes will try to settle Ciara down with reading material, but Ciara won’t want to read. She’ll want to get out!
Sadly, Rhodes is a captor hired by Vincent Belman (Michael Teh). This is all part of Vincent’s plan to torment Ben, so Rhodes won’t be willing to open the door as long as Vincent’s checks keep going through.
