Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Friday, March 19, reveals that Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) rage was out of control as far as Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) was concerned.
Chad had an intense argument with Abigail, but it came from a place of love. Since Abigail’s battling so much anger over Gwen Rizczcech (Emily O’Brien) and what her half-sister did to her family, Chad was worried about his wife landing in prison.
It was clear to Chad that Abigail needed help, so he advised her to think of their children. Abigail argued that she had a psychiatrist until Gwen killed her!
Although Abigail continued to rant about Gwen being responsible for Laura Horton’s (Jaime Lyn Bauer) death, Chad kept working for a breakthrough. He didn’t recognize Abigail in this vengeful state and feared for their family’s future.
Abigail finally admitted she didn’t know how to rise above her anger toward Gwen. Chad was relieved that Abigail was accepting she needed help – and he vowed to be by her side through it all.
After Chad suggested they start with couples therapy, Abigail thought they could save their marriage and make sure Gwen didn’t have the satisfaction of tearing them apart.
That troubled Chad, who felt like fixing their marriage couldn’t be about Gwen. Abigail agreed that from this moment on, it was only about the two of them. Chad was hopeful about getting through this stronger than ever, so Abigail promised they would.
As for Gwen, she found Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) to rat Abigail out for kidnapping and drugging her. Jack was in disbelief, but Gwen insisted the only reason she was saved was because of Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus).
Gwen argued that she’d let go of her own vendetta, which was difficult for her. It became clear to Jack that Gwen wanted him to shut Abigail out of his life if she didn’t do the same. Jack insisted that Abigail deserved a chance to let go as well – just like the chance he gave Gwen.
Jack was confident in Abigail’s ability to forgive and suggested he couldn’t have his daughters hating each other. After Jack pulled Gwen in for an awkward hug, she patted him on the back and left flustered.
In the DiMera cellar, Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) broke free from her remaining restraints and headed for the door. Sarah was frustrated when it was locked and grabbed something to try prying it open.
That didn’t work, so Sarah began fantasizing about Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) coming to rescue her in his kilt.
On Friday’s Days episode, Sarah had another fantasy about her beautiful wedding before she found a syringe on the floor. After Sarah pondered what was in it, she decided maybe this could be her ticket out.
In Rex Brady’s (Kyle Lowder) room above the pub, Xander demanded answers about the steamy scene in front of him. Rex and “Sarah” aka Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) hastily covered themselves before Xander attacked Rex.
Once Xander hurled Rex against the wall in a chokehold, “Sarah” clarified that it was her choice to be there.
Xander didn’t understand, so Rex gave them some privacy and let “Sarah” explain. “Sarah” kept coming up with excuses as Xander peppered her with questions and doubts.
In the end, “Sarah” just couldn’t move past the pain of the baby switch betrayal. At one point, “Sarah” lashed out over Xander calling Kristen a “heartless bitch” and further puzzled him.
Xander still wasn’t buying the rejection and pulled “Sarah” in for a passionate kiss, but she pushed him away and insisted Rex was her future. Rex reappeared to back “Sarah” up on that – and she returned Xander’s engagement ring to him as well.
Once Xander left confused and distraught, “Sarah” dodged Rex’s make-out attempts and insisted she wanted to leave town together. Rex was all for it and let “Sarah” go pack up some of her things.
Once Kristen made it back to the DiMera basement, she was shocked to see Sarah’s chair empty. Sarah came at Kristen with the syringe and kicked off a major battle.
Back with Xander, he slumped in a chair at the Kiriakis mansion and told Jack he found Sarah in bed with someone else! Days of Our Lives spoilers say Xander’s heartache will continue in the week ahead, so don’t miss what’s next.
In the meantime on Friday’s DOOL episode, Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) argued with Gabi about her reasons for moving back in the DiMera mansion. Gabi messed with Jake by acting like she was there to seduce him, but then she admitted this was about getting away from Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun).
Gabi suggested she wasn’t going to chase a man who didn’t want her. After Gabi reminded Jake that it was her house, she urged him to leave her room.
Jake wasn’t done talking, but Gabi wanted to take a bath – and dropped her robe right as Kate entered. Jake flipped out and covered Gabi up, much to her amusement.
Once Jake was alone with Kate, he brought up the idea of getting their own place. Kate agreed that the main thing was being together, but she didn’t want to move out.
Jake’s DiMera legacy was important to him – and it’s understood that the CEO’s supposed to live at the DiMera mansion. Plus, Kate didn’t like the idea of Gabi thinking she’d won by chasing them off.
Later on Friday’s Days episode, Jake offered updates to Gabi on his decision to stay put with Kate. After Jake walked away, Gabi smirked slightly. Once Rex summoned Kate, he turned down her dinner request since he was leaving town with Sarah.
Rex delivered the news that they were back together and left Kate taken aback.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Rex is in for a rude awakening thanks to the next phase of Kristen’s plan, so stay tuned to DOOL! CDL’s where you want to be for hot Days of Our Lives spoilers, updates and news posts, so stop by regularly.
