Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Friday, May 7, reveals that Lucas Horton’s (Bryan Dattilo) specialist finally arrived at the hospital after a lengthy delay. “Dr. Dun” appeared, but it was actually Dan Wells playing the part of Sami Brady DiMera’s (Alison Sweeney) male persona, Stan.
Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) thought “Dr. Dun” seemed familiar, so “Stan” suggested he just had one of those faces. Lucas had a moment of recognition as well and thought back to when “Stan” admitted to being Sami in a Days of Our Lives flashback from 2005.
“Dr. Dun” claimed the original results were correct and that there was no hope for Lucas, who likely only had a few months to live.
After urging Lucas to spend his final months with someone he loved, “Dr. Dun” said Chloe must be Lucas’ significant other. Lucas confirmed that Chloe used to be – and Chloe assured “Dr. Dun” that she cared a great deal about Lucas.
After Chloe stepped out, Lucas called Sami out on her ruse. Sami wiped everything off and suggested Kristen wasn’t the only one who could be a master of disguise.
She pushed Lucas to relax since she didn’t think Chloe was going to remember “Stan” after 16 years, especially since Chloe was preoccupied with her own drama back then.
Sami pushed Lucas to travel the world for a few months with Chloe, so he joined Chloe in the waiting area and pitched the idea of a trip to Antarctica. After Sami appeared, she thought it was a great idea for Chloe to go with Lucas and gushed about calling her travel agent.
Chloe seemed suspicious since she figured Sami and the kids would want Lucas nearby. Sami argued they wanted whatever Lucas wanted and seemed far too eager to ship her ex off!
Sami wondered if Chloe would really deny Lucas his final wish and made a speech that was quite similar to the one “Dr. Dun” had given.
Chloe thought back to the appointment with “Dr. Dun” – and then she had a flashback of an old interaction with Sami as “Stan.” Chloe put it all together as she busted Sami in the lie and realized a scheme was going on.
At Julie’s Place, Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) slowly backed out of the doorway and left after witnessing Chanel Dupree’s (Precious Way) kiss with Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold).
Tripp ran into Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) soon after and admitted he just saw Allie kissing someone.
Claire was confused since she thought Allie was into Tripp and wondered if Tripp knew the guy. Tripp clarified it wasn’t a guy and stunned Claire with the news that it was Chanel. Claire determined that Chanel must be running another scam and refused to let Allie get duped.
Back at Julie’s Place on Friday’s Days episode, Allie finished her kiss and let Chanel know she wasn’t gay. Chanel shrugged and said she wasn’t either, so Allie wondered what that kiss was about then.
After Chanel explained that she’d mostly been with guys, she talked about being with girls, too – though she wasn’t into labels.
Allie admitted she’d never done that before, so Chanel wondered if she liked it. After Allie awkwardly said it was nice, Chanel teased her since it wasn’t a resounding sign of approval.
Chanel was very chill about the whole thing and was surprised Allie had never kissed a girl before considering the wild crew she used to run with.
After Chanel said congrats on Allie’s first girl kiss, she offered to pretend it never happened if that’s what Allie wanted. Chanel just didn’t want to mess up their friendship – and Allie assured her that they were still besties.
They made plans to job hunt together and shared a toast over reconnecting. Chanel and Allie agreed there was no more weirdness over the kiss before hugging Chanel warmly.
Suddenly, Tripp and Claire barged in the restaurant. “Get your hands off my cousin!” Claire shouted at Chanel, who looked annoyed. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Claire and Chanel will do some clashing once Monday rolls around, so DOOL fans will want to stay tuned!
At Statesville on Friday’s Days episode, “Kristen DiMera” aka Susan Banks ranted to herself in her normal voice as Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) appeared. Brady seemed weirded out and corrected “Kristen” when she got Rachel Black’s (Josephine and Rosalind May) favorite animal wrong.
After “Kristen” signed Rachel’s birthday card with the name Susan, Brady reeled as he realized a swap had gone down. He got Susan to admit this was a scheme Kristen cooked up to keep Chloe away from him.
Susan defended the switch as Kristen doing whatever it took to protect Brady.
Brady also learned Vivian Alamain (Linda Dano) was in on the plan, though Susan said she didn’t know what was in it for Vivian. Susan was over this charade and wanted to leave, but Brady convinced her to stay for what would hopefully be a couple more hours.
Brady didn’t want Kristen to get caught and add years to her sentence, so he talked Susan into sitting tight a little longer.
Next on Days of Our Lives, Kate Roberts DiMera (Lauren Koslow) tried to fight off Kristen’s injection and failed. Once Kate was drugged and out of it, Kristen put her Kate disguise back on and lugged Kate out of the house in a giant suitcase.
“Kate” ran into Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) on her way out, so he tried to stop her from leaving town. However, “Kate” was adamant that it was over and pushed Jake to accept it.
Once Kristen was in a car, she ranted about Jake throwing off her schedule. Kristen was speeding along when Kate woke up in the backseat, so that led to Kristen taking her eyes off the road and struggling with her hostage.
Brady was speeding in a different car and ultimately collided with Kristen’s vehicle in a crash cliffhanger!
Days of Our Lives spoilers say the aftermath of this accident will bring total horror for Kristen, so stick with DOOL. CDL will have all the hottest Days of Our Lives spoilers, updates and news you need, so make us your go-to source.
