Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Friday, October 29, teases that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will have a baby celebration while John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn) soul is under attack. This will also become the night of the living dead, so let’s go over what’s in store.
At the Brady Pub, Ben will await Ciara Brady Weston’s (Victoria Konefal) arrival. Ciara will have an exciting announcement to make once she walks in. She’ll reveal that she’s taken a pregnancy test and confirmed their family plan is officially underway.
Ben and Ciara obviously expected this to happen since they decided to try for a baby. Even so, it’ll feel like a miracle that it happened so fast.
Of course, DOOL fans know it’s quite the opposite since the devil blew in and is seeking control of this impending bundle of evil.
However, possessed Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) put Ben’s mind at ease, so he’ll be able to celebrate with Ciara briefly. Ben will scoop his wife up in his arms and look forward to the birth of their firstborn children.
Ciara and Ben might discuss the gender again as well as baby names at some point. They’ll definitely be ready to start this journey to parenthood – at least until Ben’s doubts inevitably resurface. Some troubling warning signs will add to the concerns of this dad-to-be sooner or later.
Other Days spoilers say Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) will be all ears as Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) makes a suggestion.
Anna wants to support Johnny DiMera’s (Carson Boatman) movie, even if they can’t be financial backers per EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) orders.
With that in mind, Anna will have some plan for Johnny’s possession flick. She might point out that the DiMera crypt could serve as a creepy set for a scene or two.
If so, Tony may argue that they shouldn’t disturb the dead, but Marlena’s already doing that since she trapped John in with all those deceased DiMeras.
Naturally, this isn’t the real Marlena’s fault since she’s at the devil’s mercy. The same goes for John since he’s shackled, but he won’t surrender. Even the devil’s attempt to corrupt John’s soul won’t shake his love for Marlena.
John will do his best to battle the torment he’s about to face – and you can bet he’ll come out stronger on the other side. Over with Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold), she’ll surely want to put the Ouija board away now that the devil has revealed his location.
It was awfully creepy when Allie and Johnny found out the devil was right there in Salem – specifically in the DiMera crypt.
Johnny may think that’s cool and want to hunt through the haunted walls of that burial chamber. He’s not taking any of this seriously, but Allie will push Johnny to stop playing with fire.
Perhaps Allie will make Johnny promise not to go digging through that crypt since it could unleash the devil on the rest of the town.
Regardless, Days should keep any surprise guests out of the DiMera crypt for now. Possessed Marlena needs to hide the fact that John is her hostage – and the easiest way to do that is for DOOL to keep everyone else away.
Finally, Days spoilers say possessed Marlena will make a wicked, terrifying move. The devil will apparently cast some sort of spell that leads to several dead bodies rising from the grave.
It sounds like the end of Friday’s show will set up the shocking returns set to play out on Monday, so stay tuned.
