Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Gabe (Mark Colson) the guardian angel may return when Ciara Brady Weston’s (Victoria Konefal) necklace brings her baby protection. A mystery hiker is set to land in Ciara and Ben Weston’s (Robert Scott Wilson) path, so that could be a face familiar to fans of the original possession storyline.
DOOL fans know Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) recently offered Ciara a seemingly disturbing gift for her impending bundle of joy.
Ciara put on a necklace that began glowing red, so it seemed like Marlena’s present was more of a curse than a blessing!
However, we have to consider what this piece of jewelry was at least designed to do. It was a bola necklace, which was meant to soothe the baby by calling a guardian angel to watch over him or her in the womb.
Of course, Marlena obviously wasn’t trying to send any help, but Days spoilers suggest some may come anyway.
Perhaps Marlena made a big mistake by trying to twist something meant for good into something evil. The good will always win out – and in this case, good could come in the form of Gabe.
Gabe the guardian angel was an important part of the first possession storyline back in the ‘90s.
Days spoilers have been hinting about fun callbacks to that version of the story, so there’s a great opportunity here.
It seems likely that Mark Colson will return to play Gabe – and we’re betting he’ll pop up as the mystery hiker who appears during the week of November 29-December 3.
Marlena will apparently trick Ben and Ciara into heading into the wilderness with her.
Marlena may suggest a cabin retreat to prep for the baby, but it’ll really be about hiding from John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and everyone else in Salem who’s onto the devil’s takeover.
Days spoilers say Ben, Ciara and Marlena will all be taken aback over this mystery hiker’s surprise visit.
Ciara’s bola necklace may send out sort of an inadvertent SOS signal and lead to Gabe posing as a hiker when he comes to protect the baby.
