Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) may be forced to dump Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) or risk losing her company. Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) has a tough ultimatum coming up that’ll likely center around control of Gabi Chic.
Since Gabi decided to go after the CEO spot at Titan Industries, Philip intends to go after Gabi’s company instead.
Philip can’t fire Gabi or else she could walk away with Gabi Chic, which has become quite profitable for Titan. That’s why Philip needs to work some angles and create some obstacles.
It shouldn’t be too hard to pull that off with Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) help.
Days spoilers say Ava will come through with some valuable information regarding Jake’s past. Ava was in charge of the Vitali family mob for a while, so she knows Jake worked as a hitman during his employment with them.
DOOL spoilers state that Philip will get updates on this hitman shocker and plan to use it to his advantage.
Gabi doesn’t realize Jake killed people for a living once upon a time, so that news could be jarring to say the least.
Although Gabi’s in no position to judge after some of the things she’s done, Jake’s hidden history will still be an issue – perhaps in more ways than one.
Days spoilers say Philip will hand down a serious ultimatum during the week of October 4-8.
Perhaps Jake’s former criminal activity will knock him out of taking the Titan throne himself – and Gabi could land in hot water by extension.
Philip may argue that there’s no point in Jake and Gabi continuing their efforts to take over Titan.
Even if Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) miraculously allowed either one of them to take control, there may be some legal loopholes – ones that exclude previously violent Jake and threaten to exclude Gabi, too.
If nothing else, this could spark a scandal that Victor wouldn’t tolerate.
Philip might argue that Gabi will have to cut ties with Jake and pledge her true loyalty to Titan if she wants to stick around.
Since Philip considered Gabi a true friend not too long ago, he may think Jake’s influence in the problem here.
Philip might hope Gabi can straighten up and be a team player if she breaks Jake’s heart.
If Gabi refuses, Philip may finagle it so Gabi Chic is fully absorbed into Titan with no chance of Gabi getting her hands on it.
That’d be a win-win situation in Philip’s eyes, so his upcoming ultimatum may result in some form of a victory.
As for Gabi, she’ll be furious over Philip’s meddling. Gabi won’t want to lose Jake despite her anger over the hitman secret, but she also has to think about her career and livelihood.
It sounds like Gabi may be forced to choose between love or the thriving business she’s built.
Gabi Chic is Gabi’s “baby,” so she’ll definitely be in a tight spot. We’ll fill you in as other Days details become available.
