Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) will bring Jennifer Horton Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) home from Boston, so Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) will get a big surprise as Melissa Reeves returns to DOOL.
The last time Days viewers saw Jennifer, Cady McClain was still filling in. Although McClain did a great job, Reeves was able to step back into her familiar role and will be taking the lead on this stint.
Classic Jennifer fans will no doubt be thrilled to see her – and so will Abigail when she gets a warm mother-daughter reunion.
It just wouldn’t feel right if Jennifer didn’t come home for the holidays, so Jack will make sure she rejoins her family for the Horton tree-trimming party.
Chad will also be thrilled to see Jennifer, especially since he’ll know this means so much to Abigail.
Of course, Jennifer will get a chance to spoil her grandkids rotten once she returns to town.
Jack and Jennifer love spending time with Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) and Charlotte DiMera (Autumn Gendron), so everyone will love having Grandma Jenn back in the picture.
Jennifer may also apologize to Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) and Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth-Hayes) for not being around during all the devil drama. She’ll get updates on all the chaos that happened in her absence and wish she could’ve stopped it somehow.
However, Jennifer is no match for possessed Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), who’ll remain on the loose as the Christmas festivities wind down.
The good news is Jennifer and most of the other guests won’t be around when Marlena causes a fiery scene.
The bad news is Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal), Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson), Julie and Doug will still have to witness it!
There’s no word on exactly how long Melissa Reeves will stick around as Jennifer, but you can expect to first see her again during the week of December 20-24.
