Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) may fall into a deadly trap and leave Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) terrified of losing Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) twin, too. Gabi might insist she just can’t face a second crushing loss, but the threat of one could indeed be looming.
Jake already warned Gabi not to underestimate a former mafia princess like Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun), but Gabi still wasn’t concerned. When it comes to Gabi, she always thinks she’s the smartest, most powerful person in the room.
Gabi’s overconfidence could be her downfall since she’s so sure of her risky Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) takedown plan.
Philip is obviously pretty dangerous as well – as evidenced by the horrific threats he made against Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) in the email he composed.
In fact, Jake worried that Philip’s anger was enough to get someone killed! However, it may not be Brady that DOOL fans need to worry about.
Now that Days is dropping all these hints about fatal danger, it could be setting up a twist involving Jake’s brush with death.
Days spoilers say Ava and Philip will join forces against scheming Gabi, but Jake won’t stand by and let them hurt her.
Jake loves Gabi with all his heart – not to mention she’s got Arianna Horton (Sydney Brower) to stick around for.
Unfortunately, that could mean Jake will put his own life on the line and perhaps face a hospital crisis.
Jake’s worried on more than one occasion about the threat of danger, but Gabi just keeps dismissing the possibility of anything too horrible happening. It makes sense for Gabi to get blindsided when Jake nearly loses his life.
Since Jake has voiced his concerns about both Ava and Philip, it can’t be good news that those two will become a team!
Back when the money laundering storyline was going on, Brady nearly died in a mob hit meant for Philip. There’s certainly the potential for Jake to wind up in some peril now that Philip and Ava are going to be connected in a new story.
Jake could step up to protect Gabi and fall right into a deadly trap of their own making.
It’s easy to imagine tearful Gabi begging Jake by his hospital bedside – much like she did after Stefan got shot.
Of course, Days probably wouldn’t be cruel enough to kill off Stefan’s twin as well, but Gabi could still get quite a scare!
Will Jake be the one who pays the price for Gabi’s overconfidence and disregard for danger? We’ll provide updates as other DOOL details emerge.
