Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) will keep trying to fight his burning desires for Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus). DOOL fans can tell that Jake wants Gabi deep down.
Jake cares about Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) and has found a new connection with her, but Jake certainly can’t shake what he feels for Gabi.
Of course, Jake’s recent decision to reject Gabi’s business proposal isn’t going to help much. There’s still going to be a sizzling pull between Jake and Gabi – one that’ll get stronger and stronger in the coming weeks.
However, Jake will do his best to throw himself into work. He’ll even offer Kate a job at DiMera Enterprises, so there may be a couple reasons why.
Kate’s expertise is invaluable to inexperienced CEO Jake, so that’s a good enough reason to formally put her on staff. It’s tough to imagine Jake being able to run things without the benefit of Kate’s business background and knowledge. Plus, Jake may feel like he’ll be less tempted by Gabi if he keeps Kate close.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Kate’s foothold at DiMera could become quite important down the road. After Gabi teams up with Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) on her Gabi Chic proposal, this will turn into a bit of a quadrangle.
It seems Gabi will try to make Jake think she’s interested in Philip romantically to stir up some jealousy.
Days spoilers state that Gabi will want to infuriate Kate as Philip’s mom, too. This is the kind of plan that could indeed create conflict for Jake and Kate while pushing him back in Gabi’s direction.
The point is that one way or another, Gabi’s going to get what she wants – and Kate will become a bitter loser in love.
How will Kate cope with defeat? We’d say Days of Our Lives is laying the groundwork for Kate to get her revenge by stealing Jake’s CEO spot. Jake may find happiness in his personal life with Gabi eventually, but his professional life should take a serious hit as a result.
Kate could easily sabotage Jake so that he tanks some deals and leaves the board reeling.
That’d give Kate the opportunity to swoop in and play the company hero. Kate can point to all the good decisions she’s made herself and basically convince Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) that anything positive that’s happened at DiMera lately is because of her.
That’ll probably be true since Jake has no idea what he’s doing!
Whatever the case, Kate may lose Jake and gain the CEO chair soon after. We’ll fill you in as other Days news and updates emerge. DOOL fans will see plenty of twists and turns in the weeks ahead, so stay tuned.
