Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) may deliver a fast marriage proposal. Since Jake is so smitten, he may not be able to resist locking in Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) as his future bride.
Jake and Gabi spent months fighting their feelings for each other, but everything came rushing to the surface once they stopped all the games. They put their inner battles to rest and their pride aside, so that led to a steamy night together along with a sweet morning of love declarations.
Gabi and Jake said “I love you” awfully fast under the circumstances, but they don’t seem to care about what the world might consider a right or wrong way to do things.
Some might say it’s strange for Gabi to have fallen for her dead husband’s twin at all, but Gabi loves Jake for Jake – not just because he looks like Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash).
During the week of May 17-21, Days spoilers say Jake will make a big commitment to Gabi. Of course, that might just mean a heartfelt speech to let Gabi know he’s not going anywhere.
Jake may feel the need to offer reassurance and make it clear to Gabi that he’s in this for the long haul, especially after all the Kate Roberts DiMera (Lauren Koslow) drama finishes playing out.
Still, we’d say Jake is poised to make an even bigger commitment before long. Days writers took their time building up to this pairing, so there’s no reason not to go full-speed ahead now.
There’ll be nothing holding Jake and Gabi back after he commits, so Jake could wind up popping the question awfully soon.
DOOL fans wouldn’t be surprised at all if Jake got down on one knee at least by this summer. If Jake does move forward with a fast marriage proposal, there’s a good chance Gabi will accept it. Gabi doesn’t seem like she’d mind spending the rest of her life with Jake at all.
