Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) will realize she needs to think fast and form a new plan. DOOL fans know Jan feels confident she’s pulled off her current one – or at least the first couple phases of it.
Jan started by sneaking out of her hospital bed and shooting Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) while wearing Belle Brady’s (Martha Madison) coat.
Belle made sure to leave a button at the scene of the crime and then returned to her hospital bed, where she pretended to remain comatose. It wasn’t until much later that Jan made a big show about “waking up.”
Now Belle’s going down for Charlie’s murder – and no one suspects Jan since everybody thinks she was still in a deep slumber.
Of course, Jan’s wild plans never pan out for very long! This will be no exception since Belle will start putting together some clues with John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Shawn Brady’s (Brandon Beemer) help.
In the end, Belle will have a jaw-dropping realization about Jan being the one who pumped a bullet in Charlie and set her up.
Shawn will eventually reach the same conclusion, so Jan will worry she’s going to land in prison for Charlie’s murder. Jan certainly won’t want to give her freedom up, which brings us to her risky new scheme.
As the walls close in, Jan will feel like she needs a hostage. She’ll want to give herself some leverage, so she’ll target someone and hope to keep herself from landing at Statesville.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Jan will inadvertently take a second hostage, so she’ll have two Salemites at gunpoint soon enough.
Who might those hostages be? The answer might lie in DOOL’s preview info for May sweeps. In the month ahead on Days of Our Lives, Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) and Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) will suddenly find themselves in a situation where both their lives are at stake.
Lucas and Sami will feel like death could be imminent, so it’ll lead to their feelings bubbling up again.
It makes sense that Jan might take Belle’s sister and John’s stepdaughter as her hostage. Although Sami has always had issues with Belle and John, they’re all family – and that comes first. Lucas may just be in the wrong place at the wrong time from the sound of things.
Whatever the case, it’s significant that Days of Our Lives spoilers point to Jan having two hostages – and other Days spoilers point to Sami and Lucas battling some deadly danger in close quarters.
It’s all lining up for Jan to make Lucas and Sami her captives, so stay tuned to see if that’s how it plays out. Jan will make an even bigger mess as this storyline continues, so there’s some great action coming up on Days of Our Lives.
