Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) may expose the buried twin conception truth and confront EJ DiMera (Dan Feurriegel) for forcing Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) into bed to save Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo). There’s a lot to unpack when it comes to how Johnny and Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) were conceived, so Days may finally go for it.
Ever since Johnny came back to Salem, there have naturally been questions about how he could be Allie’s twin since they have different fathers.
Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) and Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) were thrown for a loop – and many fans who weren’t watching when the twins were conceived probably were, too.
So far, Days has glossed over it with a vague “it’s complicated’ type of answer, but the whole story deserves to come out.
After Allie was assaulted in London, she later found out about the time Alan Harris (Paul Kersey) raped Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney).
When that aired, the show got some flak for not mentioning what went down when Sami conceived Johnny.
Plenty of viewers considered it to be rape since EJ forced Sami to sleep with him – or else he was going to let trapped Lucas die. Sami felt she had no choice, so that’s how Johnny came into existence.
Since Sami slept with both Lucas and EJ within a short period of time, she ended up with a twin belonging to each man.
Based on how Allie and Johnny have reacted to all the twin questions, they seem to have no idea anything disturbing happened.
It’s obviously a huge deal for Johnny in particular to learn he was a product of rape – that his own father would do that to his mother. The revelation seems timely for a few crucial reasons.
For starters, EJ has become a belligerent monster ever since he found out Sami cheated on him. This could serve as a humbling reminder that EJ hurt Sami, too – perhaps more than he realizes.
The news would also add to the feud that’s going on between EJ and Johnny right now. We wouldn’t be surprised at all if Johnny threw a punch over the twin conception truth, and EJ would deserve it!
Plus, Johnny is about to go digging into his family history.
Johnny plans to make a movie about Sami’s life and will rely on Will Horton’s (Chandler Massey) old script – apparently the terrible one that got him fired from the project when Sami previously went to Hollywood with movie goals in mind.
Johnny wants to make a film that contains all the shockers of the past, so here’s his chance to find out a pretty horrifying one about how he was born.
DOOL spoilers say Johnny will indeed find some secrets in Will’s script, and he’ll then share them with Allie during the week of September 20-24.
It makes sense that Johnny would want to share anything twin-related with his sister, so he may be on the verge of uncovering how EJ raped Sami all those years ago.
Regardless, it’s a topic that Days needs to address. It would certainly be good to knock EJ down a peg ahead of Sami’s comeback down the road.
