Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will make a surprising discovery that complicates the murder investigation. Rafe certainly doesn’t think Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) was a good guy, but a cop’s gotta do what a cop’s gotta do.
This is about justice and following the law, so Rafe will continue his efforts to gather evidence and solve the mystery.
DOOL fans know Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) was set to be arraigned soon the last time we saw her. Belle Brady (Martha Madison) also quit as Sami’s lawyer after her sister lied to her repeatedly.
Sami is obviously covering for someone, but the gun had her fingerprints all over it and there was gun powder residue on her clothing.
Since Sami also happened to be at the scene of the crime, it’s easy to see why she quickly became the top suspect. However, there’ll be a new twist in this case during the week of March 15-19. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Rafe will figure out which gun was used to kill Charlie.
That opens the door for multiple weapons and multiple people with murder motives, but the real point is Rafe will nail down the owner of the gun that bullet came from.
No matter what other guns might’ve been at the scene, there was only one gun that actually killed Charlie – and that gun belongs to Kate Roberts DiMera (Lauren Koslow).
Days spoilers state that Rafe will uncover this shocker and pay Kate a visit soon after. DOOL viewers can expect Rafe to deliver the news that Kate’s gun was the murder weapon, so what will she have to say?
Kate will probably argue that she doesn’t know anything about that at all – and it may be true.
Nevertheless, this will surely make Kate a suspect in Rafe’s mind. Kate certainly knows how to handle a gun and has proven it in situations with Vivian Alamain (Linda Dano), Clyde Weston (James Read) and others.
Kate would also have a motive to kill Charlie since Allie is her granddaughter.
Rafe may wonder if Kate was feeling vengeful enough over the assault to pump a bullet in Charlie – especially since Kate would have a motive to protect her grandson, Henry Horton (Jayna and Kinsley Fox), as well.
Even so, Rafe will no doubt also consider the possibility that Allie might’ve stolen Kate’s gun again – just like she did when she went after Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams).
That could leave Kate in a tricky position as she tries to protect Allie – perhaps not knowing exactly what Allie did or didn’t do.
