Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) will reveal some Sarah Horton (last played by Linsey Godfrey) leverage and try to trade her captive’s location for freedom. This outcome seems inevitable since Kristen’s on the verge of getting arrested and still has Sarah as a bargaining chip.
DOOL’s fall promo features a frantic Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer), who’s just learned that Sarah is trapped on a remote island and wants to rescue her.
Xander spills the news to Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) back in his suite, so the clip hints at a lot even though it’s short.
This proves Gwen and Xander will indeed be released soon, so the current plan for their freedom may pay off.
Days spoilers say Kristen will get arrested, so a satisfied DA Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) should honor her agreement with Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) and perhaps a new one with Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols).
Once Kristen is delivered to the Salem PD, Days spoilers say Trask should get the ball rolling on Xander and Justin Kiriakis’ (Wally Kurth) release.
Gwen and Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) may also walk free based on the revised deal Steve has in mind.
Trask will probably be too overjoyed at the thought of locking Kristen up tight to care about any of the others too much!
Trask will expect to throw Kristen behind bars for as long as possible, but Kristen has an ace in the hole. This may be when Kristen finally admits Sarah didn’t leave town on her own.
Kristen is responsible for dumping Sarah on a remote island, but she may only be willing to reveal Sarah’s location if she walks out of that police station a free woman.
Of course, Trask would hate losing the upper hand and might resist striking that deal, but Kristen might get her way in the end.
Regardless, now that Kristen’s back, Sarah shouldn’t be far behind. There’s been some buzz about a Sarah recast potentially taking over, but the point is Sarah seems poised to return in some form.
As for Kristen, she may trade one problem for another if she scores her freedom and faces a battle with possessed Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) next!
