Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) will finally make a major confession – just not to a lawyer or the cops! DOOL fans know Sami blew her last chance with Belle Brady (Martha Madison) by lying repeatedly.
Belle couldn’t understand why Sami was being so cagey and even wondered if Sami might be protecting somebody.
Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) name came up as someone Sami was potentially protecting, but Sami argued her daughter was no killer. Of course, that’s exactly what we’d expect Sami to say if she was trying to throw suspicion off Allie.
Regardless, Belle has taken herself off the case – and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) doesn’t feel like there’s anything he can do to prevent Sami’s punishment either.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Sami will feel like the walls are closing in on her when Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) pays her a visit. During the week of March 15-19, Lucas will want the truth from his ex.
Lucas knows Sami better than just about anyone in Salem, so he’ll probably push Sami to admit she didn’t kill Charlie and wonder what her game is.
Days viewers can expect Sami to come clean to Lucas, so she may admit she’s doing whatever it takes to keep Allie out of prison. Sami might tell some story about hearing a gunshot and seeing Allie leave Charlie Dale’s (Mike Manning) apartment building.
Perhaps Sami will argue that she had no choice but to mess with the evidence to make sure Allie didn’t go down for this.
We have to think about what Lucas might do after he hears the whole story. Lucas will want to protect Allie just as much as Sami if that’s indeed who Sami’s protecting.
Lucas won’t want to see Sami get locked up for this either, so we could see Lucas make a bold move to protect them both.
Will Lucas make a bogus confession to get Sami off the hook and keep Allie out of trouble, too? It’d be in line with Lucas’ character to do something like that, especially since he’d probably think it’d be believable under the circumstances.
Lucas publicly threatened Charlie’s life in the town square before the murder while plenty of witnesses gaped at the confrontation. All Lucas has to do is claim he followed through on that threat.
It could turn Allie’s world upside down all over again if Lucas tries to take the fall for her next.
There’s a good chance someone besides Allie actually murdered Charlie, but Days of Our Lives spoilers say Allie will fall under suspicion thanks to her troubling behavior next week. As other Days news comes in, we’ll keep bringing you updates.
