Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) will grow desperate when Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) doubts his sincerity. It just won’t make sense to Chloe when Lucas confesses his feelings for her out of nowhere.
Chloe will feel like there has to be something else going on here. The fact that Lucas is suddenly declaring his love out of the blue will raise suspicions and leave Lucas in panic mode.
Lucas will know he needs to do a better job of selling this lie or else Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) isn’t going to be happy.
DOOL fans know Sami is determined to keep her night of passion with Lucas under wraps due her deal with Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk). If Sami helps Kristen keep Chloe as far away from Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) as possible, then Kristen won’t blab to EJ DiMera about Sami cheating on him.
There’s a lot at stake for Sami, who’s decided she wants to keep fighting for her marriage and has renewed her loyalty to EJ. Days spoilers say Lucas cares about Sami on a deep level and won’t want to let her down, so he’ll have to think fast.
When Chloe doubts Lucas’ story, he’ll come up with a massive lie on the spot – one that’ll trip him up and add to his guilt over messing with Chloe’s emotions. Days of Our Lives spoilers state that Lucas will claim he has a brain tumor!
Lucas will insist it’s terminal, so he’ll act like he wants to spend his dying days with Chloe by his side.
Naturally, Chloe will be taken aback over Lucas’ shocker and will become more willing to buy Lucas’ sob story. Chloe will probably assume Lucas wouldn’t lie about something so tragic and horrible.
This should leave Chloe with a real dilemma since she wants Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) back, but she’ll no doubt want to make whatever time Lucas has left the best it can be.
Chloe will likely decide to put any hope of a romance with Brady on hold, but Lucas can’t get by with this excuse for long.
