Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) will frame EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) for kidnapping and get Sami Brady DiMera’s (Alison Sweeney) husband arrested to blow up their reunion. Let’s talk about what we know so far and consider the fallout of Lucas’ decision.
DOOL fans know Lucas was on edge when Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) brought up how Sami’s kidnapper should pay.
Allie speculated that maybe EJ could be behind Sami’s snatching, but Lucas downplayed that possibility and acted incredibly guilty.
Based on that and other insider hints, Lucas obviously snatched Sami himself and hoped he could win her over by coming to her rescue.
That plan didn’t pan out since Sami rushed right back to EJ anyway and desperately wants to get their happily ever after.
Of course, Lucas has vowed not to give up on Sami, so he’ll form a new plan soon enough. Lucas will realize he needs to taint EJ’s image in Sami’s eyes, so it looks like he’ll hope a kidnapping setup will do it.
After getting updates on Philip Kiriakis’ (Jay Kenneth Johnson) scheme to frame Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), the wheels should start turning for Lucas.
Days spoilers say EJ will end up sitting in jail for Christmas, so his arrest is coming up – and that should be sneaky Lucas’ fault.
Lucas will let EJ sit behind bars for a crime he didn’t commit. That’s bad enough, but it seems Days will go a step further with Lucas’ guilt by letting him frame his rival for it.
From where Lucas is standing, this may be the only way to convince Sami that EJ’s a scoundrel and finally push him out of her life for good.
Naturally, Lucas’ plan isn’t going to work for long! After Sami reunites with EJ, she’ll watch in horror as her husband goes down for abducting her.
A distraught Sami will lean on Lucas just like he wanted, but the truth will come out sooner or later. When it does, Sami’s sure to unleash her fury!
