Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that it looks like Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) will be revealed as Sami Brady DiMera’s (Alison Sweeney) kidnapper. Lucas’ reunion plan will backfire spectacularly and put him at odds with several people he loves, so let’s discuss all the Days drama.
DOOL fans know Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) quizzed Lucas about Sami’s kidnapping on the December 15 episode.
Allie wanted updates on the case and insisted the person responsible needed to pay. She doesn’t like the idea of this mysterious kidnapper potentially going after Sami again.
However, Lucas seemed quite uncomfortable with all that talk about the cops and payback. He offered vague explanations and acted like maybe the cops had already lost interest since Sami wasn’t really hurt or anything.
Lucas could barely look Allie in the eye, so it certainly seems like he’s the one behind Sami’s abduction.
If someone else were to blame and Sami was in legitimate danger, Lucas would be just as outraged as Allie. The fact that Lucas is so chill about the whole thing is a huge red flag.
This seems like an extreme scheme, but Lucas has fallen hard for Sami again and is desperate to be with her.
Perhaps Lucas thought he should keep Sami away from EJ for a while and give him a chance to move on without her – which is exactly what he’s been doing with Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker).
Of course, Lucas’ main goal was obviously to step up and be the hero. He wanted to pull off a dramatic rescue and prove he was the man Sami could rely on.
Sami was indeed grateful to Lucas for saving her, but she went running back to EJ soon after.
That brought another clue when Lucas suggested if he’d known Sami was going to do that, he would’ve just left her in captivity! Lucas is no doubt frustrated since nothing’s going according to plan at all.
Things will get even worse for Lucas during the week of December 20-24 since it looks like Sami and EJ will reunite romantically.
If Lucas indeed ordered Sami’s kidnapping and carried out this elaborate ruse as expected, it was all for nothing.
Lucas can’t get away with this forever, so he’s sure to face Sami’s wrath along with Allie’s when the truth comes out.
The same goes for Sami’s other loved ones since Lucas went too far by locking Sami up for months.
