Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) is headed for trouble. Abigail can’t stand the thought of Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) getting away with all her crimes, especially what she did to Laura Horton (Jaime Lyn Bauer).
Gwen has never wavered from her claim that Laura’s death was an accident, but that’s not good enough for Abigail. As far as Abigail’s concerned, Gwen is a killer who needs to pay.
Of course, Gwen also drugged Abigail and caused severe hallucinations. Abigail was forced to spend time away from her family getting treatment again as a result.
Unfortunately, Days spoilers suggest Abigail will have to say goodbye to Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and her children once more. There’s seemingly no getting around it since Marci Miller recently had a baby.
That means DOOL had to plan for Miller’s maternity leave and most likely include an exit strategy.
We’re already seeing plenty of hints on screen involving concerns about Abigail’s troubling mental state. There’s a good chance Abigail’s going to prove she’s mentally unstable – maybe even through the return of “Dr. Laura,” who was one of Abigail’s alternate personalities during the DID storyline.
Even “Gabby” could make an appearance depending on how things play out. Whatever the case, Days of Our Lives spoilers say there’ll be some bombshell that disrupts Gwen and Abigail’s attempt at a truce.
This could lead to Chad and Jack discovering that Abigail is once again suffering from DID symptoms.
Chad may have to make the difficult decision to send Abigail away for treatment. Of course, Abigail might agree it’s for the best once she snaps back to reality. Perhaps Abigail will vow to get help again so she can be the best mom she can possibly be.
Abigail will want to be the wife Chad needs as well and may not put up a fight since she clearly needs treatment.
That’ll become even more obvious after Gwen and Abigail’s showdown during the week of April 5-9. This may be when one or more of Abigail’s alters potentially surface.
Whatever the case, Abigail should be headed off canvas in the very near future. It makes sense that Abigail will land back in treatment for her mental illness to explain away Marci Miller’s maternity leave.
Maybe there’ll be a psychiatric facility near Boston so that Jennifer Horton (Cady McClain) can be nearby to support her daughter.
