Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that possessed Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) may deny Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) the rescue she’s seeking from her captors. Will this desperate daughter’s phone call to the devil backfire?
Sami is stuck in a real mess right now since she was chloroformed and taken against her will. She’s tied up somewhere and just wants to get home, but her family believes she’s taking some time for herself right now.
The good news is November sweeps will bring a call from Sami to someone she feels could help her.
The bad news is Sami may wish she’d called someone else instead! Days spoilers are quite cryptic about who exactly Sami will call, which could be a tipoff that it’ll be possessed Marlena who answers.
It’s doubtful Sami would call EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) after that epic blowup they had right before the kidnapping happened.
Whether EJ’s behind the abduction or not, Sami may seek help elsewhere.
Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) is a call recipient possibility, but why go to the trouble of hiding that in DOOL spoilers? It just seems like there’s a reason why Days is preserving the surprise of who Sami will call.
Besides, it makes sense for Sami to call her mom as opposed to her estranged husband or the ex she cheated with. Sami would assume Marlena could tell John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and put his investigative skills to good use.
Sami doesn’t know John is also being held captive at the moment, and she certainly doesn’t know Marlena has been possessed by the devil again. It’s easy to imagine possessed Marlena picking up and finding out from Sami that she’s been kidnapped.
Marlena might nonchalantly suggest she’ll get right on that – only to do absolutely nothing. The devil won’t want Sami around to cause trouble and may love the idea of Sami suffering in captivity.
However, Sami could still work to escape – or perhaps Lucas could grow suspicious and do some digging into the mystery.
There’ll still be ways for Sami to secure her freedom, but this initial phone call may backfire.
Sami may blow her one chance at contact with the outside world on a call to the devil himself!
