Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Monday, August 23, tease that Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) will humiliate Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) and create a Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) date disaster in the process. EJ DiMera (Dan Feurriegel) and Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) will also become allies while Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) suspects Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien).
Chanel just suggested going to lunch with Johnny, so they’ll look forward to getting to know each other over a casual meal together. Unfortunately, Paulina will become a date crasher and cause plenty of drama.
This nosy mom has a knack for pushing Chanel’s buttons, so she’ll rile her daughter up with her behavior and what we can assume will be too many questions for Johnny.
Paulina’s overprotective side may be on full display, so she’ll embarrass Chanel and bring some conflict. However, Johnny will probably be amused and think it’s cute seeing Chanel so mortified.
Johnny will become increasingly enamored with Chanel, so this disastrous date won’t stop Johnny from his romantic pursuit.
Other Days spoilers say EJ will approach Xander with an intriguing proposal.
Since Xander is in legal hot water right now, EJ will suggest he could take his case.
Although EJ’s currently the co-CEO of DiMera Enterprises, he has a background as an attorney and could help Xander out of his latest jam.
DOOL fans know Xander could certainly use an ally right now – and EJ will be willing to become one since he feels like Xander did him a favor.
By blowing up Nicole Walker’s (Arianne Zucker) marriage, it led to Nicole’s retaliation and blew up Sami Brady DiMera’s (Alison Sweeney) marriage, too.
EJ is masking his heartbreak with all this rage, so want to repay Xander for his part in ending what EJ feels was a farce of a marriage.
Xander should take EJ up on the offer and will soon be out of police custody.
EJ may get Xander out on bail for now, but he’ll hope he can beat the charges against his client sooner or later.
Of course, Xander’s only in this mess because he took the fall for Gwen, who’ll remain extremely grateful.
As for Julie, she’ll doubt that Gwen was really so innocent in the drug mess with Dr. Clay Snyder (Michael Lowry).
Days spoilers say Julie’s suspicions could lead to trouble if she digs too deep, so Gwen should be on edge.
Finally, Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) will celebrate their recent wedding.
Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) helped Ciara and Ben tie the knot once again, so the new husband and wife will begin the rest of their life together.
That’ll probably mean some honeymoon talk and even some other plans for their bright shared future.
