Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Monday, August 30, tease that Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will make a divorce confession while EJ DiMera (Dan Feurriegel) fights for Xander Cook Kiriakis’ (Paul Telfer) freedom. Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) will also suspect Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) has a secret, so here’s what DOOL fans can look forward to.
For starters, Chad will make a painful admission to Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford). Days spoilers say Chad and Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) marriage is in serious trouble, so Chad will open up about their crumbling relationship.
After Chad confesses that a divorce might be in his future, Jack will hope he can help. He truly believes Chad and Abigail are a good match for each other, so he’ll agree to have a heart-to-heart with Abigail.
Chad will count on Jack to convince Abigail to keep fighting for their future, so we’ll see if Jack can get the job done.
Of course, Abigail is currently in Boston with Jennifer Horton Deveraux (Melissa Reeves), but Days spoilers say Abby will return to the NBC soap by September.
In the meantime, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will treat Xander to breakfast in bed and worry they may have to say goodbye.
EJ has agreed to help Xander, but Gwen will have her doubts about Xander avoiding a prison sentence.
DA Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) is known for being tough – and Xander has a habit of getting off the hook for major crimes.
This is Trask’s big chance to nail Xander for a drug dealing operation, so she won’t be eager to just give Xander a slap on the wrist.
EJ will push Xander to cut a deal, but Xander won’t be satisfied with it.
If that deal involves any jail time at all, Xander may argue that EJ needs to work harder and make sure he stays out of the slammer.
It looks like EJ will come through for Xander in the end, so that’ll take care of one problem.
However, Gwen will hope to repair Xander and Jack’s damaged friendship as well.
Since Xander took the fall for Gwen, she’ll feel obligated to speak with Jack and try to nudge him in the direction of forgiving his former buddy.
At the Kiriakis mansion, Justin will meet Calista Lockhart (Cady Huffman) and immediately sense something’s up.
Calista just threatened Bonnie with the gun she used to kill Harrison Lockhart, who was Calista’s husband before he was pumped full of lead!
Calista expects Bonnie to come up with the million bucks she feels she’s owed, but Bonnie isn’t keen on asking Justin for it.
Monday’s episode will bring a tricky situation for Bonnie as she tries to buy herself some time and keep her secret under wraps.
Justin will feel like Bonnie isn’t giving him the whole story, but he may brush it off as typical family drama since Calista is Bonnie’s former sister-in-law.
Speaking of family drama, there’ll certainly be some between Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman).
Now that Allie knows Johnny is Chanel Dupree’s (Raven Bowens) mystery man, she’ll have a few things to say about it!
There’ll be some tense moments as Allie tries to get through this awkward double date with Johnny, Chanel and Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams).
Allie will deal with anger over Johnny making his move with her bestie, so Tripp may suspect some jealousy is going on.
Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) will have a hunch that’s going on as well, so she’ll call Allie out later in the week.
