Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Monday, August 30, teases that Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) will fight over Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) while DA Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) and EJ DiMera (Dan Feurriegel) go to war – leaving Xander Cook Kiriakis’ (Paul Telfer) fate at stake.
At the new bar just off the town square, Allie will try to wrap her head around what she just witnessed. Johnny came around the corner with Chanel on his arm, so Allie obviously wasn’t pleased over the shocker.
Since Allie still has feelings for Chanel, it’s way too complicated for her to date Allie’s twin brother.
Of course, Johnny is crushing hard on Chanel and won’t want to lose his shot with her. He may argue that they can all be adults here and move forward, but that won’t be so easy for Allie.
This is going to be an extremely awkward double date with plenty of tension involved.
Allie will clash with Johnny and perhaps Chanel as well. Since Allie chose Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams), she really has no right to tell Chanel who she can or can’t move on with.
Tripp already suggested the idea of playing matchmaker for Chanel and Johnny, so this will be great in his eyes – at least until he sees how upset Allie is.
Once Tripp’s alone with his girlfriend later, he’ll sense that Allie’s jealous and struggling to hide it.
As for Chanel and Johnny, they’ll need to have a heart-to-heart about whether they can get past this uncomfortable Allie hurdle.
Other Days spoilers say Xander will feel like a king when Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) brings him breakfast in bed, but she’ll worry it could be a last meal of sorts.
Although EJ argued he could hopefully keep Xander out of prison, there are no guarantees.
That’s especially true when DA Trask is involved. Trask will feel like she finally has a chance to lock Xander up and won’t intend to let it pass her by.
DOOL fans will see EJ get into an argument with the DA, who may be unwilling to budge on the terms of a deal.
Xander will be presented with this deal eventually, but he won’t be down for anything that lands him behind bars.
Since Xander paid $1 million to secure EJ’s services, he expects to walk away with the slap on the wrist that EJ promised! Xander will lay down the law, so EJ should apply more pressure to Trask and lock in a better deal.
Next, Gwen will approach Jack and urge him to see that Xander has a good heart. She’ll deal with terrible guilt since Xander covered for her and blew up his friendship with Jack as a result.
Gwen will deliver a heartfelt plea in hopes of securing another chance for Xander, but Jack won’t understand why his daughter keeps pushing for this.
It turns out Jack will be a busy guy since he’ll also serve as Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn) confidant on Monday’s DOOL episode.
Days spoilers say Chad will offer updates on his failing marriage, which seems to be getting worse every time he talks to Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller).
Chad will fret over the possibility of a divorce, but Jack won’t want him to give up hope just yet. Instead, Jack will vow to speak with Abigail and see if she might be willing to give Chad one more shot.
This will set the stage for Abigail’s return from Boston this September, so stay tuned for more “Chabby” drama.
Until then, Calista Lockhart (Cady Huffman) will introduce herself to Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) while Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) fears exposure.
Calista has the gun Bonnie used to kill Harrison Locke and is demanding money in exchange for her silence.
Although Justin won’t figure out what’s going on just yet, he’ll definitely think Calista is odd and may sense that Bonnie doesn’t like her former sister-in-law much!
