Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Monday, December 20, tease that Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will find injured Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) while Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) scores her chance with Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer). Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) will also hide from Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin), so here’s what DOOL viewers can look forward to.
First on Monday’s Days episode, Steve will panic at the sight of unconscious Kayla on the floor. Kayla has a nasty gash on her head thanks to her run-in with possessed Marlena, but she’ll wake up and let Steve know she’s OK.
Of course, Steve will hear all about Marlena’s twisted transformation, which briefly led Kayla to believe the devil was Steve. Kayla will need some minor medical attention, so Steve will make sure she gets it while Marlena offers Jan an explanation.
Days fans know Marlena used Kayla’s key card to gain access to the coma unit and sneak in Jan’s room. Marlena just told “Sleeping Beauty” to wake up, but Jan will wonder what’s going on in Monday’s show.
Jan will be taken aback when she realizes the devil has possessed Marlena again, but she certainly won’t mind.
Jan will actually be quite excited at the chance to partner up with the devil himself. She’ll be even more thrilled when she realizes Marlena’s plan involves a chance to get Shawn in bed.
Marlena will plan to transform Jan into a Belle Brady (Martha Madison) lookalike just in time for Shawn and Belle’s anniversary.
While Marlena and Jan work out the details of what’ll happen later in the week, Belle will talk to Shawn about a new theory. Since someone erased the security footage at the pub, Belle will think the real culprit was covering his tracks.
Belle will argue that Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) is being framed and will set out to prove it before he goes down for a murder he didn’t commit.
Next, Kate will push Philip to hide while she gets rid of Chloe. That’ll be easier said than done since Chloe will be determined to convince Kate to reverse her latest decision.
Chloe will urge Kate to undo having Philip declared legally dead, so Kate will land in a tight spot since she indeed knows Philip is alive.
However, Kate will do what she can to shove Chloe back out the door and will keep Philip’s secret for now.
Over with Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold), she’ll have some fun with Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) in the town square.
Tripp will don a Santa hat and share a kiss with Allie, but he’ll probably be called to the hospital to help with Kayla soon enough.
